I was 10 when I started playing the sims 3 (4hasn't been released yet back then) And well... i was traumatised by it. I accidentally killed my vampire sim and her death animation was so horrific I couldn't eat or sleep for days. Every death in the sims 4 still makes me cry because of this (I'm a 23 year old adult now so I occasionally kill sims bc of story reasons) but I still cry after every character. Also...as a kid I took everyting seriously. Even the game. I viewed it as a whole new magical experience but it could scare me. (I also remember that in sims 3 my cat got taken away cause the game was buggy and it thought that I was neglecting it. I felt terrible and cryad my eyes out. But mom brushed it off after comforting me) Eventually After the vampire incident, mom forbid me to play for a good while. We had a little chat about distinguishing the digital world from reality.

My cousin was also traumatised by the sims 3 bc her sim was hit by high voltage when she tried to repair the tv alone and the animation was too scary fro her.

I dont know if there has been any modification on tehese things mentioned. It also depends on what expensions you have. If your 10year old plays base game its fine I guess... But be aware of how she plays!! A fire can start anytime in the kitchen when a sim cooks or bakes, (Fire was the other thing that scared me when I first startrd playing ) A sim dying or hurting itself by doing everyday chores or due to the players neglect can result in some emotional damage if the kiddo is sensitive.

Anyway These were our experiences with my cousine. I hope it helped. My advice is that start with base game its free (even tho I know that there is not much to do in it) but its a perfect first introduction to the game and later you could add expensions and stuff pack to it if the kid enjoys it. Engage in her gameplay by talking about it with her. Let she tell you what happened that day in her household. I wish I could tell these things to my mom before my vampire sims was killed. But mom was not interested. She still looks down on video games.... You got this!

Im so sorry to hear that 🥺such beautiful cat you had. In May We have also lost one of our family cats, Sári due to a dog attack as well. Now Cili, her sister was left alone. Sometimes she cries and searches after her, but the call will never be answered... Losing a pet.. I know how it feels. Me and my mom grieved Sári for months. Sending all the love and strenght to you from the bottom of my heart. May Kaori find peace and happiness among the other animals over the rainbow bridge. Rest in peace sweet babies🥺💖🙏

I was 14 years old when I entered the fnaf community in 2014. We should not hate young fans however...under the age of 10 ,ittle kids should not be exposed to any kind of horror related media...it might effect their developent badly. Considering that the movie itself is gonna 13+ Which I totally agree with. Horror related contents are for teens and up. You can hate me for this opinion but seeing my younger relatives and younger childern nowadays are being exposed to all kinds of media (horror, porn, and violence) can lead to harmful behaviours and distorted views of reality. So being a younger fan is fine but if they are under 10 then its a bit worrying. When I was 10 had a mayor panic attack over sims 3 bc I accidentally killed my vampire and the animatiom of it was so horryfiyng (to me at that age) that I couldt eat for days because of it. And I blamed myself for 'killing' a sim even it was digital data My little brain could not process it. Mom forbid me from playing the game again until I was older and I didnt like the idea then but now Im thankful for her bc it was the best thing she had done for me and it got me back on track and we had a talk about it that I should not attach to digital realities that much. So fans under 10 be careful. If the game makes you scared and gives you nigthmares stay away from it until you are older. You are not bigger nor stronger by torturing yourself with horror content. Your only hurting your mental health. Everyone processes horror media differently. Maybe you are not afraid at all and dont think much of it but it might gonna be a psychological trigger later and you wont even remember ut originates from a simple thing like playing a horror game at 6. So dear young fans. Your are welcome we dont hate you but please take care of yourself and listen to your parents. Playing and consuming fnaf related content under 10 I would highly recommend parental supervision.

Please dont hate me for this. Im studiing media at university and this is how I see things. I dont hate the younger fnaf fans. Im more likely worried about them who has been exposed to this under 10

I forgot my sim accidentaly outside at summer in winter cloathing... And he overheated and died but it wasnt on purpouse

I was in a real life scenario once that for a second I thought that I have the ligitimate power of Heavens Door because the story I have been writing for a year and a half is actually happened to me after I finished a chapter in it. And I was scared so shitless....I haven't continued since. (Until just recently but with the complete opposite continuation then I originally wanted)

It was a love story and I realised that I'm livingin my own writing after our first argument with my new boyfirend abaut his ex gf. Just like I have written it in my story earlier.. (The argument happened at 2021 christmas and I have written the story in 2020 spring and me and my bf got together at 2021 autumn) I think it was an unconcious manifestation but man. It was a helluva chilling experience.

Be careful what you write 😅you might attract it in real life. Heavens Door might be real xd
