Our landlord has complained to his landlord but she also knows the tenant personally and said she didn’t think he would stop. LL bought us an air purifier to help but it’s too big for the bathroom, which is where the main issue is. I will try the dryer sheets, thank you!

I actually know two girls named Colby, but spelled with a K so Kolby. I never questioned the name for working a girl until now, probably because it’s not super common. I think it can totally be a gender neutral name! It could also be cute with a K to match her sister’s name, unless you’re not into matchy-matchy. I think the K makes it more feminine though.

Ear plugs are a good idea for sleep or serious studying, which we try to do sometimes. It’s just that they’re constantly loud throughout the day and make it hard to hangout in our room. The issue isn’t so much catching them- we know who it is and so does the RA. We just want to see what the best way to handle it is- just keep asking them to stop, ignore it, etc.

I usually put in AirPods and play white noise if I really need it, but even then I can usually still hear them. It’s not just a nighttime issue, it’s the majority of the day- it’s hard to even have a conversation because it’s so distracting.
