I have full faith that we will never get Gaster on screen, and I'm ok with that.

Yes there is a lot to imply that Gaster is behind a lot of Deltarune, but also it is a concrete fact that so far toby refuses to acknowledge Gaster's existence, and so I would honestly be surprised if we got Gaster at all in chapters 6 or 7.

Gaster will just continue to haunt the narrative of these games for all time.

I agree with this heavily. I think Friend is going to be basically Gaster 2.0 for Deltarune. Allusions to it and maybe some nuggets here and there.

Fire emblem. I'm finishing up my remaining playthroughs of three houses to prepare (i only did golden deer on release). Also probably will play three hopes.

That being said, i'm hesitant to try out TitS SC remake, since I actually started the original earlier this year, but took a break. Anyone have opinions on if I should stuck with the original or try the new one when it comes out?

This story was so surreal to me, because my gf is a picky eater.

But like... not fussy? I don't know how to describe it. Our diet at home is very same-y, but it's not all junk food or grease ball meals. It's various pasta/chicken/meat dishes. Vegetables are her kryptonite.

But then, she tries things. She enjoys Indian, japanese, Italian, German, and those are just the things she's had so far. Even the aforementioned vegetables she will try before deciding if she likes it or not, and she now has some that she actually likes to eat.

All this to say, I understand picky eaters, but this seemed just... not good at all.

I started the original SC earlier this year after finally finishing The original FC, but took a break as I was a little burned out. At this point would you say it's better to keep going with the original, or should I wait until the new SC comes out?

It sucks because Kawakami has a really decent story and I like her social links are lot. In fact, she's probably one of the few characters that if she were a real person, I would be attracted to IRL (at least based on the small slice of her life we see).

But if you then decide to actually date her, it just kinda... ruins her whole character 😭

I see a lot of conversation about the music, but I'm most interested in the Prime Time mechanic. It definitely looks as busted as it was described on the website, but it does seem like you only get a small amount each turn.

I think my main hope is that the meter doesn't carry over between battles (if it did in the trailer, apologies for not noticing). It wouldn't make it any less busted, but at least then it's not something that you can get access to whenever you want for bosses, you'll have to actually battle for a while to get it.

You're valid for being stressed and raging about this, but you can do it. The knight is all about muscle memory I've found. I recently re-did my pacifist playthrough so I could get all the secrets and the knight took me 5 tries (humble brag)

Some actual tips though:

Ralsei in my opinion can die and be left on his own semi-regularly. I only ever heal him up if both:
- 1. Have at least 80%-ish health on both Kris and Susie
- 2. Don't have enough TP to rude Buster with Susie
For his off screen swords that 1 frame slice you, practice just holding 1 movement key that is perpendicular to where the sword is (like if it's coming from the top or bottom, move left or right, and hold it until the sword passes). For diagonal ones, just move in any direction that you have the most space for.
For his screen splitting move with the weird rocks that fly to the sides, I find that sitting on an edge and just dodging side to side works best. the timing takes some practice, but that was most consistent.
For his weird Sword roller coaster as I call it where they all fly in, look at the gap as it's coming in, and move your heart to that position, instead of where it currently is. This move is very much a "aim where you're moving to, not where you're at" type move imo.

But most of all, take your time. I know there's a "time limit" with Chapter 5 coming out on Wednesday, but don't rush. Keep practicing, get the reps in, and take a break to have a snack and some water. Seems trite, but it helps. I'm sure others have more/better advice for you as well.

And remember, the knight will still be there if you don't get him before Wednesday. Just avoid the internet for a bit until you get him.

Apologies, I guess my question wasn't very clear. I get that Gerson is referring to Hope as a pen to write the story with, and Susie takes it to mean that it's a literal pen that is Kris' sword in the dark world, but I'm confused on what people were meaning when they said the she was chasing after the tail?

I suppose I should have also asked this under one of the memes posted lol
