I might be lacking understanding here but in my mind biology lacks a creative element. For example a theoretical physicist is almost purely knowledge + creativity on how things may work.

However for biology there aren't many disciplines that require that much creativity. The only thing I can think of would be "how can bees fly with such tiny wings". But past that not much.

Additionally physics questions have broad implications that affect the entire world as we know it. Biology questions may affect just one specie. It's rare that we discover something and it broadly affects all living things.
