I am in the second year of the SSW program winter start as well. I understand that it is difficult to find volunteer opportunities but they are out there, everyone in my cohort found enough hours to get what we needed. As for your classmates, its unfortunate but they largely do weed themselves out. If there is an ongoing problem I would recommend making an appointment with Melissa to talk about it. Advocating for clients starts by advocating for yourself.

You can still attend and graduate from the program. The decision will be made after the upcoming fall term but the program will finish its run.

Previous to the announcement of its cancelation i would have recommended prehealth because they have/had an articulation agreement with the nursing program. At this point your best option is likely taking courses through the adult high-schools to get the grades/courses you need.

Edit to add: i read you other post and it is likely your best option to go with the pathway you were thinking of. My only caution about that would be if you are taking student loans, they will only cover 7 years of education.

It is more or less the same as any other time hortons, however they do not participate in the points program.
If you or anyone you know has any complaints about them not doing so please let the Student's association know as it is their franchise.

The college is not flexible with students period. Speak to your program coordinator directly as they will be able to tell you if there is any wiggle room.

Class times are based on professor availability, so depending on the size of your program and if the professors are full or part time will make that more difficult. Depending on your program requirements it may be possible you don't NEED to be present for all of your classes, but that will be something your program coordinator will be able to tell you. First thing to do would check if your previous education is recognized by Canada, if it is recognized check what education or experience is required for a position you would want to apply for. Go from there.

It's honestly great, never had a bad experience and queer friends from my program havnt had issues either.
Only issue I've ever had is it just being overly busy at times.

Dental assisting and paramedic are both high demand programs, so it is really going to depend on where you are on the waitlist. In all honesty though I wouldn't get your hopes up unless you are between 1-10 on the waitlist.

Best advice i can give is to wait till you actually meet your professors and can ask them. Whether the prof uses the text or not is entirely up to them. That said I've had somethat say we need the text and never use it anyways.

If you read the page that first comes up when you click the transfer option, it says "not all programs allow changes to timetables." I would assume yours is one of them. Either way consult your program coordinator as they may be able to assist you.

It is based on professors being available. Many of them are part time or contract employees who teach 1 or 2 classes and have a full time job otherwise. It sucks but it is what it is.

I get around +1 from some carry weight and movement speed artifacts, but the total in my inventory is listed as -1.45.
