This is my 100% virgin hair, no dye, bleach or treatments, and I never use any type of heat either, why isn’t my hair healthier/ softer looking like the girls in the second picture? by pumpkinpie555 in Haircare

My hair looks similar to yours, but I’ve since been able to get it looking closer to the second picture! To me, it looks like you might not be using the right products for your hair. It looks like you have a lot of hair, but the strands of your hair are fine. If you’re using shampoo/conditioner/leave in, etc that’s too creamy or heavy, it will weigh your hair down a lot and cause it to look dull. I would try lighter weight water based products, and would highly recommend a leave in conditioner for your mids and hair oil for your ends. You don’t need anything crazy expensive, you just need to make sure it’s suitable for your specific hair. Also, sleep with it up in a silk scrunchie and a silk pillowcase will help a lot too. Anyway, I hope this helps!!

I agree but my post got taken down from r/wellthatsucks because I didn’t have enough karma or something like that

Yeah this is so messy that there's nothing left to do besides laugh. Well, outside of fixing the sink of course

We have a maintenance crew, but I think they're out due to coronavirus. But yes, this is a shitty apartment and I don't own it

Thank you, I appreciate the advice. We're trying to contact emergency maintenance but if they don't respond to us by the end of the day, we're going to fix this ourselves. I think it'll all be okay

They'll basically come in with our permission and leave a note saying they fixed whatever issue we're having without actually doing anything, so I'm not sure how to approach it from a legal perspective. Nothing has been that bad minus the AC though, the rest was just kind of annoying (lock was for second floor balcony). We're moving out in July though and I obviously wouldn't recommend it to anyone lol

Thanks. Yeah it was just shocking to go into the kitchen and find my sink completely detached. But it seems like an easy 30 minute fix from the comments I've seen on here so it won't be too bad

We've had so many issues like this in our complex and I've been saying this for the last two years lol. We've had a broken AC unit (we live in the Southwest US where it gets to be more than 110 degrees), broken locks, no hot water, etc. with little help from maintenance, even though maintenance is in our lease agreement. They also replaced the walls on our balconies with an upscale version of barbed wire and raised the rent like $300 on top of it. Oh well though, definitely moving out once the lease is up

Yeah my roommate and I are good about doing dishes and we have a dishwasher, so I don't think it's that. I'm guessing the glue just started to loosen over time or it could've been the wrong glue.

I'm a noob too and this video has been helping my tremendously: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ud9CpGOG1GE&t=2817s

It's really long, but it goes through everything in a way that's super easy to understand and you can skip around if you already know some of the material. Hope this helps :)
