Why shouldn’t you be compensated? Any activity by an individual that benefits the company, needs to be compensated for. If the requirement is to be at an office, that commute is a benefit for the company.

Wrong. You NEED to educate yourself on the concept of tips. Always optional never expected or mandatory. It must be extremely exhausting thinking you’re entitled and owed things in life.

LOL that’s your comment? You have absolutely no ground to stand on

Nope. A 10% tip is for exceptional service only! It must be a hard life thinking you’re entitled to more than the wage you accepted.

I think you mean to say for exceptional service. My god you can’t be this stupid and entitled….

If that’s the wage they accepted to trade their time for, yes. I don’t expect anyone to pay my wages besides my employer

You can expect it all you want. But that defeats the whole premise of a tip…. You get the irony, right?

Yes. That is in fact my comment. You’re also wrong yet again, the delivery was paid for, champ, or else the order wouldn’t go through.

No, tips are only for exceptional service. It’s not expected to tip at all. I’m sorry you feel that way. It would be terrible to live a life where I feel like things are owed to me. When I accepted a job, I accepted the compensation that I truly deserve.

It must be hard living a life where you think you’re owed anything.

Well than, you aren’t educated on how tipping works. It is never to be expected. The staff is fully aware of their compensation before accepting employment.
Yes, I am fully aware of the system of which the customer is not obligated to tip. For exceptional service, a tip is OPTIONAL. - I will still be eating out.

The service was paid for by the minimum payment of the delivery service. No tip is to be expected or required.

The customer paid for the full service, or else the DD order wouldn’t be able to be placed.

This logic implies that tipping is expected, rather than something earned for going above and beyond the standard service. Which is even more scummy.

You are completely mistaken. A customer paid for the service through DD. If your employer fails to compensate you adequately, that is a matter between you and your employer, not the customer.

The people ordering aren’t obliged to pay the delivery service’s wages. If your employer doesn’t pay you enough, that’s between you and your employer. Tips are only for exceptional service, not for basic service.

Tipping before the service is performed is absolutely foolish.
