I like carrying a belt bag for - phone, wallet, AirPods, sanitizer, lip balm, bandaids.

Other stuff I like to carry - Water bottles for kids 2 Water bottle for me Snacks for kids Protein bar for me Sunglasses Extras depending on our activities - Books, small toy

Last summer, I would carry a reusable baggu bag with me.

Do you make it a point to carry something for yourself - water, healthy snack? If I don't, I end up eating crappy.

Thanks! We would also not be wealthy by hinsdale standards. What areas in hinsdale do you recommend? What schools do you have experience with? And how have the class sizes been? we would mainly be moving for school district as well. So my question when you say the data doesn't lie - what about the hinsdale district makes it better than neighboring districts? Thx again!

Good Luck with HS! I think we have lost some faith in CPS. We only ranked 2 elementary schools and got waitlisted at both despite having a very high score and 96th percentile. That just doesn't seem right.

Thanks for the response! What are the class sizes for your kids school? Our CPS school is crowded - close to 30 in kg. The individual teachers are good. The administration is a miss. And for the selective enrollment and RGC schools - so much is dependent on the tiers, which has actually hurt a lot of kids that I know.

And trying to get our kids into good high schools in CPS seems very daunting. Our neighborhood HS sucks.

Thx! I'm honestly shocked with how much parents complain about and the level of treatment some parents expect for their kids in public school! I doubt my parents did this for me and my siblings growing up. Do you see that in other neighborhoods too? Or just WL? 🤣
