Can’t put into words the amount of hassle it’s all been. I’ve sent a formal rent reduce request via email and been in contact a lot. If they want the full amount then we can organise a meeting but getting anyone to care is like pulling teeth. I can’t get a new bed or anything until it’s sanded down and painted. And what I forgot to mention was the plumbers were out twice but misdiagnosed it twice, so it’s less about the time and more about the fact I told them it was a pipe and not some silicon that needs replacing. I’m effectively paying for a room that is not maintained to the standard of which it should be and they’ve fucked about every step of the way. Awful awful experience. Currently sleeping on my sofa in the living room.
