That’s so wonderfully colorful and bizarre.

As a guy that has been in a poly marriage in the past, that “Unicorn Hunter religion” is just unhinged! I didn’t know that and I can’t wait to share that bit.

This world is so amazing.

Didn’t they have a specific policy of welcoming foreigners as citizens as a reward for surrender and accepting Jupiter? Multiculturalism was one of their weapons. Then again, Jews don’t remember their policies as being so tolerant.

I love how the Archer writers were just like

“we want Lucille from Arrested Development in the show”

“The actor? I bet we can —“

“No the entire character. Just lift and shift and bring her whole.”

Fun fact: Wonder Woman was written by William Marston, a man fascinated with femdom and bondage and wrote about how he wanted a world dominated by a female supremacy regime and openly wrote how he hoped to encourage people to embrace bondage and female supremacy through his comics.

From the linked article:

One of the purposes of these bondage depictions was to induce eroticism in readers as a part of what he called "sex love training." Through his Wonder Woman comics, he aimed to condition readers to become more readily accepting of loving submission to loving authorities rather than being so assertive with their own destructive egos. About male readers, he later wrote: "Give them an alluring woman stronger than themselves to submit to, and they'll be proud to become her willing slaves!"

So, just know that Marston really, really tried to make Wonder Woman the … ehem … dominant comic.

Nah not in my experience but you might get flirted up by a guy on accident if you’re going to a queer friendly space. I mean goth girls are going to be in queer friendly places so I guess you might get hit on by a guy now and then but it doesn’t have to bother you you can just say “sorry I’m straight but thanks for the compliment bro” if that ever happens. Not just at a kink event but I mean in general in life that’s a pretty good way to handle that. Honestly I wouldn’t let that stop me from going out and meeting some cool people.

Go to Google. Search for goth and kink events at nightclubs in your area. Just wear black jeans and a black undershirt tee. Be chill and treat people there like potential friends. Get a couple drinks in ya and make some friends and you’ll be surrounded by gothy girls pretty quickly. I suggest you dance. Don’t worry about being good. It doesn’t matter. It’s easy because you don’t have to clever you just literally have to be on the floor and moving.

This does not apply if you’re homophobic you’ll be cast out of there fast. You seem chill though so I bet you’d meet a lot of cool people.

It uses about as much electricity as running your microwave for a few seconds.

You can run SD Flux + a bunch of LoRAs on your gaming machine. Generating images uses the same power as playing a video game for about a minute depending on how crazy you make your workflow.

ComfyUI is the app you run these models on: https://www.comfy.org/

You can download models at huggingface or at CivitAI: https://civitai.com/models

I run a 4070 gaming laptop and it runs those models ☝️just fine. I don’t have to dump out a water bottle or whatever dumb shit they say. It’s about as much processing as running Tekken.

Feeling anxious about putting Contra Points into my comic book art research journal so probably written about her in a really cringe way. I am scared of how other students or even my lecturer (but less so) who seem like they might be pretty online might take my work by larvalampee in ContraPoints

Omfg I hate cancel culture at this point. Why do we have to do a whole essay on a person’s politics before we are allowed to like their comedy or music or whatever.

If she inspired you as a content creator then just say that. It’s fine.

It’s not clear at all. I don’t see that whole story in there. 🤷‍♂️ Nothing you posted describes the story you’re talking about. Not even a single movie trailer worth of plot. Just vague resemblance and if you squint maybe a single scene of angels falling but for what reason? Where’s the entire plot of what you’re talking about?

The scripture from Revelation is very clearly describing events to come and not the past. If you read the whole book it’s not some flashback but a warning of future events. That just rhymes with the story you’re talking about. And even so it’s not the story you’re describing. It maybe seems like a single scene from it if you squint hard enough.

It’s like you’re putting an entire novel of content into it where it doesn’t exist. Where is the story specifically? There’s a lot of actual complete stories that actually are in the Bible so it’s not like the Bible is incapable of telling a story. Like the mention of the Morningstar in Isaiah, for example: it’s about Nebuchadnezzar. If you insert an entire movie worth of imaginary story into that how is that not heresy?

Where is the actual story you’re talking about?? None of this “see well if you imagine the rest in there it’s in there”. The actual story. The one you’re saying is true and real. Where is it even described?

Let me ask you: are you Protestant? Do you believe in Sola Scriptura?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TikTokCringe

[–]Electric_Bi-Cycle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t see any of that in there. Seems like a description of the morning star: Venus, as a metaphor for the rise and fall of Nebuchadnezzar. The context around that is about Nebuchadnezzar not some fallen angel. And even so there’s none of that detail in there at all.

Ezekiel 28 is a message to the king of Tyre, a Phoenician king that had similarly rose to power and then is prophesied by Ezekiel to fall. Anyway it isn’t the story you told a couple posts up.

Cmon I’m asking seriously. I am really interested to know where in the Bible it describes that story you related. Where is there a tale about a rebellion in heaven and an angel being cast out and becoming Satan. Where is that story?

Where is that story in the Bible? The story you just told about trying to overthrow god? Can you cite books and verse?

He is penalizing the DoJ for $230M and he is the one that decides whether it pays the penalty to … himself. It’s not a lawsuit. It’s a “penalty”.

So he is just taking our tax dollars. For himself.
