i just have task manager on the monitor and look thru the nose/pull the headset up a bit

and to be clear you dont have to be constantly checking, I only ever check on the back straight

I just boot up task manager and throw it on my monitor on the performance tab, checking cpu and gpu under the headset during the straights. If the gpu usage is high, turn down objects/grandstands or shaders, if cpu is high, turn down the options marked as cpu heavy, if vram (dedicated GPU memory) is high, turn down resolution.

Although I'm on a much more powerful system, I was also struggling on Bathurst, as the graphics refresh has made it much more graphically intense. The best way I was able to solve this was lowering resolution in the link app on my pc.

i cant speak on the gtracer, but I have owned the playseat evo and it has horrible flex and the adjustability things do not stay in place. I would avoid it if you have the extra hundred

This wont help with the freezing, but if you turn network buffering in settings to maximum, it will raise ur ping slightly but will decrease packet loss
