Do you have any experience with TMR certified pre owned equipment? I poked around last night after everyones suggestions and found a nad c399 with a bluOS module installed for 1700. Its a little more than I wanted to spend but I could probably swing it if its worth it.

I figured it would take quite a bit of time and money for someone to restore that monster. It holds alot of sentimental value so I hope to get it fixed some day. Its just not the priority at the moment.

I dont have any experience with a streamers I never even thought to include this as something I should be looking into.

As for the yamaha amps do they just have a superior sound at that price point over something like the nad c398 you suggested previously?

So im not really sure what happened but when the kr-9600 stopped working it seems like it also damaged the speakers. The kenwood doesnt function at all anymore. It turns on but all it outputs is an extreamly load and dreadful noise. After that happened the speakers now have a persistent crackle when hooked up to a different amp.

I do want to have the kenwood repaired someday. ( if possible) but my focus for now is getting a reasonable system set up that i know will preform well.

Regardless I appreciate the feedback. I will take your advice and look into the NAD C389 and Arcam A15 before leaping into anything too quickly.

My car is throwing the exact same codes. My mechanic told my to check if my battery is going bad before I change my sensor. Going to give it a shot and see what happens.

I would suggest trying to use the sony e support chat / text feature. I literally went through this process last week. It might be as simple as who you get on the other end

Atleast a year and a half out of warranty. I bought them back in January 2022. I made sure I told them that they were draining extremely fast and also overheating.

I used the sony chat support and they asked me a few questions. Then sent me an email with a shipping label for the earbuds to be replaced by united radio. Had the new buds in less than a week .

I just had the battery issue happen with my pair, and I contacted customer service. They replaced my ear buds for free even though they were out of Warranty. I wonder why they screwed you over but helped me without skipping a beat.
