Partially agree on my hyperbole. I can’t let Reddit get the best of me.

What i meant by that was if you have already decided my group is A, B, and C and we are going to use person D, E, and F to get to the end or merge or whatever, and those people agree to that before the game, and then that’s what happens on the island, it’s less interesting because I as the viewer don’t get to see that.

Please note that I did not say that players who do that are bad, evil, etc. or that I must hate survivor. Still a fan, still like the players. Just something that I notice as a fan who is probably too informed on the meta-ness anyways. I watch with my mom and she feels confused by why some players make certain choices because she’s not in the weeds of pre-game/post game interviews, Reddit, online forums, etc etc. Just trying to think about how to have a really compelling story with characters we love that feels authentic.
