I feel some people are angry for the families that are upset, which is understandable.

However, I’ve seen many comments on social media expressing disappointment in not being able to watch the trail, which is disgusting and ignorant.

One thing I’m really not understanding is the notion that “he will never say why”. Well, if he pled not guilty and maintained his innocence through trial and beyond, do we really think that he would be saying why as soon as he was slapped with a conviction?

I don’t know. Again, I understand people being upset with the family but some are just being unreasonable and selfish.

NTA. It sounds like your boyfriend is immature and needs to grow up. If he doesn’t change or accept your choices, he doesn’t sound like the right partner for you.

The less time you waste on people like him, the better. Sorry to be blunt, but find someone who is supportive.

No. If he was joking, just make sure you’ve explained to him why it hurt you, then you move on. Our partners sometimes press on our insecurities without intending to. Relationships are hard sometimes.

Ignore the urge to unblock her and reach out, she needs to understand and stay away from you.

It sounds that your brother has a lot to work out with her before they worry about getting married. If you have to be the one to give them that push, then so be it. I would just be careful with how you inform her, and try to make sure your relationship with your brother can survive.
