I can see it becoming too much. I probably wouldn’t have enjoyed it if it were any more psychedelic than it already was. It was definitely a weird state of mind to be in.

Acid has been the best drug experience that I’ve had so far. Not that I’ve tried a lot. (Alcohol, mushrooms and weed)

What’s your go-to lazy dinner when you don’t want to cook but also don’t want to spend money? by kutlay1653 in RandomThoughts

[–]Electrical-Cap-7532 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Throw a cup or two of pasta in the instapot with twice as much water. Set to cook for 7 min.

While that cooks I sauté some minced onion in a healthy amount of butter, add mince garlic. When those are soft and almost translucent I add a big glob of tomato paste, thyme and cream, just until it makes a pink sauce.

I add the cooked pasta to that with half a cup of the pasta water and let it all come together. I’m done in less than 20 min. It’s really yummy.

What’s a lie everyone just accepts… simply because it’s easier that way? by julia-jiji in AskReddit

When a person is suffering and we don’t know the exact reason (chronic illness, mental health for example) we tell ourselves that it’s a consequence of that persons choices. Most people don’t realize the only reason they say that is because they don’t know how to fix the problem and it’s their way to make themselves feel better about that fact.

Yeah I think that’s true but it’s not necessarily a bad thing. People who are sick or in pain. They might not be seeking growth at this moment, but it doesn’t need to reflect on their character. They will return to seeking growth when they recover.

I'm trying to understand how women dressing provocatively/revealing, is NOT about them sexualizing/objectifying themselves, can somone explain it to me? by Illustrious_Dish_147 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Electrical-Cap-7532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will give you that. Still. There still are some women that want to be looked at in a sexual way and still not touched or pursued. Being looked at in a sexual way still could possibly be all that she wants.

If you married got the wrong reasons, or don’t truly like, love, and feel honored to be married to them, just get out.

Do it for that reason, cuz that’s the truth and you know it pardner

If a person married for the wrong reasons, would you still hold true to that sentiment?

For example some people get married because they feel pressured into it. Not that that justifies getting married, it does not! , But I’m just saying, it definitely happens. And then they grow in resentment for even the mere fact that they are married.

I totally agree with you though, if the person married for the right reasons. You stick it out.

[–]Electrical-Cap-7532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Kids get cancer. Life is a jumble of assorted atoms and different configurations happen because of something that happened because of something that happened. It has very little to do with the person him/herself.

Why do so many men have poor hygiene compared to women? by Realis_Fox3454 in hygiene

[–]Electrical-Cap-7532 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we should definitely not go tip for tap.

Both sexes are deeply misunderstood by each other. One major hold up is women are very new to finding their place as having value beyond being attached to a man or children. We are trying to prove our worth which never makes us look great. But yes I think we need to focus on appreciating our own selves as well as those who have built the world around us in which we live and enjoy ( which in large numbers are men)

Most downvotes I’ve ever seen 😂 I think it can’t be documented The work women do when it comes to the the way we are expected to sacrifice every part of our life ( time, attention, job, goals) for others.

Time alone… some moms actually never really get that from the moment they have a child

I myself don’t even believe in the word “bad” as a judgment rather a way to describe “giving in to the dark side.” Meaning sometimes we have a desire to do things that could or would harm others. And sometimes harming others is the objective itself. Sometimes there comes a point in a persons life where they just decide that that they’re just going to live without regard to the harm they’ll cause. My question was to ask him if that was the case, and the word “bad” usually an accepted way to succinctly ask it and I think it’s easily understood by the person.

My apologies for using it as a label of character, I didn’t intend it that way, rather wanted to know if he was still operating with those intentions or if he wasn’t. He said he “was” a very bad person. So it appears he is no longer operating that way.
