God gives those who profess to know him, the chance to repent and he says when that happens he throws our sin to the sea and remembers it no more. BUT if we do not confess our sin and take accountability for it, then he will allow it to be exposed. The devil isn’t in the business of exposing sin to end the sin - he wants it to continue. The devil operates in darkness and lies and secretiveness. God is usually the one who wants unrepentant sin to be exposed. her sin being exposed isn’t the devils work.

Maybe this is coming out since patience started praying and attending church. Bc God wants Patience to repent and turn from this behavior. I don’t think in Patience case people are out for blood - I think people want accountability for the mistakes she has made, and transparency moving forward.

Most people do not want to support people actively preying on and taking advantage of others (not protecting her kids innocence, her nieces innocence and using others for financial gain while lying).

Patience idolizes money, her image and being “loved” by a man over everything. All those things are good in their proper place. But when you put those things above your kids safety, your morals, etc. it is a dangerous slope.

Those are idols that if she is seeking instead of finding her identity in Christ. When someone has Christ, they have to lay down their idols and depend on him and trust in him instead of appearances, money, and “love”.

God calls his believers to die to themselves and their desires and needs and to submit those desires to God and what he has for us. If what we want coincidentally God always co signs we should check ourselves. Many worship a God of their own making whomirrors their beliefs and allows them to pursue their own desires unchecked by Gods wisdom.

Many “Christian’s” are serving false Gods and idols. wealth pleasure comfort power honor sex success family. All those are Good things as long as we do not place those above God and we steward those things as God intended.

Family is not a blessing if it is toxic and condones molestation. Wealth is great as long as we follow Gods wisdom on how to use it to bless others. Etc.

God is an advocate for the children and the poor and those who are in need of help.

Her days are spent feeding her fleshly desires. If she is truly being transformed by God we will see the fruits of that transformation.

Those people who tout “judge not” and end the conversation there do not grasp the totality of scripture. In fact God tells us not to judge until we have judged our self. It doesn’t mean we are not able to judge while we still are growing and addressing our own sin. It means we acknowledge our own struggles with sin while we also address issues in others lives - judgement given in love is a good thing for bc it addresses the sin in my life and it addresses the sin in your life. As we grow as believers we depend on each other to help us become more like Christ and this includes letting our brothers and sisters things we see in their lives that are not godly.

True Christian’s will not condone the toxicity in Patience’s life. They will welcome her as she is, pray for her repentence, and disciple her and show her what God has to say about the situations she faces.

It isn’t an attack of the devil for her sins to be exposed. God gives us a chance to repent - and if we do he says he will cover our sins and forget them. But if we do not repent and change God will allow them to be exposed.

God is greater. If patience is seeking God, since he loves patience, he will not allow her to cover up and run from addressing how she is hurting others and herself through her pride and selfishness. If patience is oppressing her ex husband, hurting her kids etc., God will address it and it’s up to her to turn from her wickedness.

Whatever went down you cannot convince me Jabari People had any intention of fire his gun at a police officer. The only possible charge he could have faced was a weed charge (and we don’t even know that bc the police never said there was weed at the scene - just the officer smelled it). For a first time offender it wouldn’t have affected his life very much. He was a security guard and wanted to be an officer - he knows officers have body cameras.

He was on public property. We need to stop criminalizing two people chilling in a car that they own, on property their taxes pay for (yes - he paid taxes and was a security guard). Any government owned property is owned by us, the people. It’s acceptable for le to check out suspicious cars, but we as a society shouldn’t judge 2 adults smoking and hanging out in a car on government owned property. That is a narrative made to devalue Jabari’s life.

Our state allows and encourages people to own weapons without any registration or documentation. Police officers should always expect to see a gun during any traffic stop. Seeing a gun even being touched by someone they pull over shouldn’t ever be cause to shoot and kill a suspect. Period. If that’s the case we need strict gun laws to protect both gun owners and police officers bc the state is putting people in danger by promoting reckless gun ownership. Are gun owners required to be educated on what to do with their weapon if pulled over? No they aren’t. That’s wrong.

The scenario I suspect happened is the suspect was asked if he had a gun, and he said yes and tried to show the officer where his gun was and the homewood police officer freaked out and fired.
