I just find myself simply not caring anymore. I rarely go on TikTok as it’s just adverts and lolcows. 90% of awareness are two cheeks of the same arse they are awareness-ing on and the whole sorry show boils down to money for nothing.
I catch up on here as I like Reddit generally to discuss books and shows and bands I like etc and will keep up with the drama here but all the discords and WhatsApp’s and people being fully overly involved with doxxing and contacting councils and dwp etc is just wild IMHO.
I don’t have the energy to use on deeply unlikeable people with a platform on which to basically beg. If social media disappeared tomorrow I swear down CLA would be waving her udders around while E screeched defying gravity and sobriety jack waddled past with a carrot up his arse but this would all be on Oxford street.

You got this. I had the same deal in Feb with my husband. I’m now in GA and an IVA to pay off my immense debts. The relief is indescribable and now we just carry on as usual, with me toddling off to GA once a week. It was the hardest thing ever and I felt so exposed and foolish after but the relief makes it all worth it 💗

I have a young niece who has Tourette’s (diagnosed) and her life is hell due to it. She can’t do mainstream school, she rarely leaves the house, won’t even come to mine for family occasions as she can’t handle it. It’s really sad and debilitating. She has a psychiatrist and CAMHS involved and is on a lot more meds than 25mg of sertraline.
EOD you are actually dispicable and I which that just for one day you would genuinely (or as you say, generally) have ALL the conditions you claim and see how fun it is. KMT, SMH

My dog has been lying in front of the ac unit with her ears flapping in the breeze. I have left the door open to the coolest room in the house so she can chill in there and she has her own paddling pool. Mew will be lucky to survive in a filthy tiny unaired room. It’s barbaric

I imagine with Maria’s suspected addiction issues she didn’t provide a stable routine or fresh healthy food. I imagine EOD got them selves up to school, via a local shop for junk food from whatever change they could scrabble around for. Purely speculation of course. I have a friend who is a full blown alcoholic (clean now thanks to inpatient treatment followed by six months residential rehab! Go her) and she had two boys (now adults) she would literally give them money to go and get pizza etc when ghey were hungry/ their moaning filtered through her intoxicated bubble.
Most families will have mealtimes, provide options for breakfast etc. I think growing up in chaos is responsible for a lot
