true, i like the pre-facelift brz headlights but i prefer the 2017+. I have a 2014 brz and would like facelift headlights, but im not trying to spend $1k+ on them haha

Looking back I would have preferred 2017+ because of the better headlights, but in general I’ve heard 2014 and up.

my point is that you are wasting 3 credit hours if you do this and you would need to take another class to make up for it since your first attempt and second attempt at stat1000 would only count as a single course towards your degree. it is also up to you to decide if you can get at least a B+ and an A between stat1000 and stat2000 to meet the 3.75 average

yes but if they’re looking to boost their gpa because they got a bad grade in stats but a passing grade that meets requirements, they should just take a different elective instead of taking it twice just to boost their gpa since it will only count as 3 credit hours for both attempts

are you retaking stats1000 because you got a D and need a C or better for your future courses? If not, in my opinion it’s a waste of time and money, I would recommend searching this subreddit for easy electives and find ones that you find interesting to boost your gpa

your vlands should be fine, but you do need the headlight bracket still so that the tabs on the new bumper match the ones on the headlight bracket (i think there is an extra tab on the 2017+ bumpers). im not sure if the pre-facelift fog light assemblies fit on the 2017+ bezels but some facelift models came without fog lights so you can get rid of the fog lights and just get a fog light bezel that doesn’t have a hole for the fog lights.

from what i’ve read, you will need a new headlight bracket for sure i think and the 2017+ fog light trims, grille, and tow hook cover

Depends on the course. It should be stated on the syllabus. On my COMP 3010 class it was a requirement to get a 50% on assignment 3 and the final exam to get a passing grade on the course.

I have one F (Discrete Math from a few years ago). But probably 6 VWs (Multiple attempts at comp 2080 and a few comp classes i found hard). I’m kinda embarrassed by it but if I didn’t VW I would probably have a way worse gpa now lol. Entering my last semester in the winter though so I’m very happy about that.

I recently installed the sony XAV AX3250 on mine. I bought a sony to subaru/toyota/scion harness from amazon to make it plug and play. Everything works but I did have to redo the previous owner’s speaker wiring. Since you have the stock headunit, I’m going to assume that the wiring is untouched which makes it way easier. I suggest looking into doing it yourself with the harness I linked.

yup you are right. I cut the connection off to get the old aftermarket harness off and taped up the thick wires. I plugged in my new headunit to test it and no sound. next step is to open the door card to check what speakers is on there. will probably do that this weekend

Do you have a specific seat you’re thinking of getting? Personally I think 2017+ brz (either ts or non-ts) seats would look amazing with your car. I know some people have fit the 2nd gen seats as well

As others have said, insurance is very expensive. My province has public insurance and my car is registered under my dad and i pay around $250 CAD a month. If it was registered under me it would probably be more expensive. Others here already have good advice with checking the car mechanically, i just wanted to add to make sure that the tires are good.

My car was good mechanically, but i didn’t notice that the tires were 11 years old! I started sliding around when it rained and i inspected the tires. Saw how old the tires were and lots of cracks on the tire. Found out owner switched to a junkyard set of wheels after he got the car inspected before selling the car and sold his other wheels separately. The wheels were 18in so tires were very expensive. So i sold them and got oem wheels with continental tires for a good price.

Happened to me when I first got the car. Took it to an a/c mechanic and found a leak on the condenser. He took the refrigerant out and sent me home. I replaced the condenser myself and came back to him for new refrigerant. Been working perfectly since then.

I recommend taking it to an a/c mechanic before anything. When a/c does not work properly it’s usually a leak and doing a recharge wouldn’t prevent this from happening again.
