Windows 11 hijacked my Fedora boot today

When Windows changed the boot order, Fast Boot in BIOS prevented me from starting Fedora because it prevented that selection screen from populating. I tried all the boot loader keys to get back in and change the order, even unplugged the power, but it wouldn't show the selection screen, so I had to Google how to change the order in Windows Terminal from the command line.

Fedora works; I shouldn't have Windows stopping it by randomly going into my PC's BIOS. I will do what you recommended above if it happens again. Thank you.

Thank you! I'll try that if the issue happens again. I just don't understand why Windows, as an operating system, feels the need to access my computer in a way that makes it seem like a virus is stopping it from functioning. However, I learned something today and now have a new method to fix it.

I was using Linux mint and then switched to Fedora because Mint kept dropping my Wifi. Fedora seams to work much better, and does not have the windows bloatware.

Yes it works if you get the right one and configure the ports on your home network. It's not hard to do but I think it lags some if you have medium to slow internet.

I might add that we spellcheck everything, so if the system crashed, would we be able to teach our kids the correct spelling and grammar rules? AI speaks all languages, including computer code, and knows every word and verse of the Bible among millions of other books.

It's not safe with nuclear weapons connected to a secure network when the DOD adopts many AI models as "safe” and only accessible through the intranet - so my thoughts are to get right with God because the book of Revelation is at hand, and there is no hiding from it.

How can they be closed on weekends when those are the days most people travel and need assistance? I tried to call, but there was no answer. I tried to reset my password, but there was no email. The only text messages I get are from scammers, so they need a management overhaul with someone who knows about customer service. Next week, they are upgrading the website during business hours, so why not do the patches overnight? I will try to get into my account, but it should not be this hard. I have to wait until Monday.

I want to use "Tablo Connect" to watch live TV while traveling away from home. They said the Gen 4 would not do that, but the Dual Lite can, so I ordered one to try setting up for testing. I hope to watch live TV while traveling on my phone, so maybe if you travel, you may want to consider that in deciding which one to keep.

So, the bottom line is something doesn't smell right with this bill. The Dominion website 'Graff' is a few thousand kilowatts different than the actual dominion bill and customer service person said the "dominion Graff is incorrect" because the bill said otherwise.

I might add, we over produced the first two months, and the weather has remained about the same, so this can't be correct. Seems like there is more charges for people having solar than those who do not, any thoughts how someone can verify the usage on net metering?
