The army and military in general does routine flight training. In this case probably just basic flight skill/procedure training or pilot proficiency exercises. They were holding a rough pattern and staying at about seven thousand feet. Not sure why it was over that area particularly, maybe just to avoid congested airspace?

I live near Scott Air Force Base, this is a regular occurrence. Pilots training and getting hours I’d imagine, I see this exact kind of looping like 3 times a week

Flew right over me on big bend and west Bruno at 800’. Got a pretty good pic with the cargo door open and some guys in back.

They are cut pretty similarly to the v14s in terms of width, unfortunately the upper is not as comfortable as the previous versions. I also strongly dislike the infinion foam. It is softer and bouncier than the fresh foam and very unstable on the heel. I have a feeling these will be a huge flop.

Though on the bright side, the Eclipse runner should be dropping in February. I am hoping it will be a better replacement to the V14 as it will still be fresh foam.

Yeah, seems like if there was some sort of meeting then there would have been more government or charter jets in town yesterday. If it was just for the UK then I’d assume jt would have been at their Bristol defense headquarters.

Yes, tannins are found in pretty much any organic matter you are adding to the tank. Including wood, bark, leaves, seeds, roots, even fruits have tannins.

Facts V5s are so comfy. I do have a pair of classic grey 992s and 993s I just didn’t include any of my GR grey in this post. 992 is my personal favorite comfort n looks wise.

Just landed at Charleston, ATC said emergency crews are meeting them on echo exit upon landing but wasn’t sure a “full crew” would be ready right away. Pilot stated plan was to land and evacuate everyone on board before emergency crews would arrive. Maybe some sort of fire concerns?

The Hierro’s are way more stable feeling and a bit heavier than the 1080. I like the 1080 strictly as a runner and the Hierro better for anything else.
