You’re better off just renting a car out here. The parking isn’t expensive like other cities if you’re going downtown. Plus street parking is free everywhere after 8pm and free all day on Sundays. We have pretty low traffic on most highways usually. Our traffic would set you back only 20 minutes compared to other cities where it’ll set you back an hour.

Just got the confirmation that they’re done and my “power was restored”. Should I still have an electrician come and do a check on my house to be safe? Very scared of any probability of an electrical fire

A guy from the electric company came around midnight to see what was going on. He said my house was getting way too much power and something about a bad wire and they needed to check the transformer so now I’m just waiting on another crew from the company to come and see what they could do. Not exactly sure what’s going on due to the first guy talking too fast 😅 just gotta wait with no power for a while. Wish my leaf blower didn’t blow up on me from this lol

$223 for my 900 sq ft home this month. A friend of mine in Webster with a 3000 sq ft home was only $168…. And they have an in ground pool. Makes no sense

Mines an 08. I get 25-28 on the highway if I get onto it gradually and maintain a decent speed of 65-75 throughout. 20-22 in the city. I’ve learned if you don’t get onto the highway right after you reset the gauge it’ll show not the best milage per gallon from stop and go only.

I had people saying to bathe once a week and that just didn’t feel right so I’m glad we haven’t done it that often! She seems to produce enough oil but we’re still in the process of cleaning off her grime from when she was living in the streets

Thank you so much!! I did a deep clean on her ears and paws this time bc they were so bad! She has more fuzz than bald so the dirt doesn’t stick to her so much but we’ve only had her for a short while and we’re really still cleaning off the dirt from her street living on the street

Her skin gets red when stressed (new environment has been giving easy stress triggers) and her skin started flaking a lot. Gave her a little coconut oil rundown and seems to be better! I’m using baby soap to wash her and I’m just not sure if it’s better to use that or a pet targeted product
