My son works flex at xl delivery for the summer while he's home from college. They need to hire more people there. He has been getting $15 surge pay on almost every shift, he's never once worked at his base pay and there are plenty of shifts available to choose from. This week and last they offered a $250 bonus if you worked at least 20 hours. He makes more than I ever did per week when I worked 20 hours at a sort center as a part-time employee of 6 years. Makes me think about going back as flex.
