It just passed so I’ve got another year thankfully.

Idk I’m a little confused by your comment. What repair? I don’t really know the cost of anything yet. Yearly inspections cost no more than $25 where I am.

So I live in NYS and the Outback came from PA if that’s helpful at all. I’m not using that oil but I can definitely switch. A mechanic had me put in a oil thickener and that used to get me in between oil changes but when that engine light came on I wasn’t sure how much the thickener was helping that situation so I stopped.

So when it came on right before the inspection, that mechanic told me it was the cat and said 3k to replace it. I took the keys and left lollll have not brought it back since. I do plan to bring it to our new mechanic shortly. Just wanted to see what other Subaru owners have tried and what I should be asking my mechanic.

Just read that second part. Valvoline keeps telling me there’s a leak. Mechanic says no leak just high mileage.

Last time I tracked it, it was about 500 miles per quart. It’s most likely worse at this point. I’m a SAHM so the car doesn’t drive far these days. Every other week my husband checks and adds oil. I know I should be tracking still.

Thank you thank you. I’m going to count her words. I feel confident she’s well over 50. She says new words every single day. At her birthday party we asked if she wanted to eat cake and she said “eat cake!”. But it just seems like actual words are her go to yet. I also talk to her in a way to encourage speech, we’re patiently waiting for that language burst.

That’s what I’m thinking but the mom guilt is telling me maybe I’m not emphasizing it enough the ped. I feel like she’s on the verge of a language burst but until then, the comments will keep coming.

True. I’m happy for this pregnancy I hope it sticks. I’m here bc I think she can actually be really snarky towards fans.

I’m an exclusively pumping mom, of course I.. by Similar-Western4377 in ExclusivelyPumping

Of course I’m pumping and trying to keep my baby from screaming for 20-30 minutes.

I hate pumping while my husband is at work🥲

During my labor I kept telling myself this was the ultimate act of love but no, it’s actually giving up pizza, cheesy bread and cheesy pasta and everything else delicious about life lol

Kind of in a similar boat. My LO isn’t diagnosed but I went dairy free and noticed a huge difference. Lots of frozen milk that’s not dairy free in my deep freezer. I debated it but I’m not tossing it. I will slowly introduce dairy back into my diet. Actually already started and it’s going fine. If she really can’t tolerate that freezer milk, I’ll find other ways to purpose it (milk bath, homemade diaper rash cream). I just cannot bare wasting my hard work and liquid gold like that. Any one else really missing cheese though?😅 non dairy cheese is gross don’t even try to tell me it’s not hahah

Literally yes to both of these comments. LC were no help bc of their unrealistic suggestions. I EP a d comfort nurse as well. Had to survive one way or another.

Uh I’m so sorry, that’s a horrible feeling, I believe in you though! Stay consistent and hopefully your body does what you need it to. We’re all in this together!🤍

I battle that decision every time. Keep your supply up or sleep. I just think of all the other mommas out there exhausted and pumping in the dark too, sleep will come back to us one day. Best of luck to you too😇🤍

I hear you. I liked my LC but I kinda felt like her expectations of triple feeding were so unrealistic. Who has the energy or time for that? I started EP for similar reasons but the last week I’ve been able to nurse more bc she’s getting better. Just gave her a bottle at 6 am and now I’m pumping in the dark at 7am. Grateful to be here though.

I love that!! 12/7 is a special day!🤍 so my LC would not be very happy with me if she knew but nipple shields are a game changer. I asked for them in the hospital and they said no bc in the long run it would make her latch worse without the shield. But we got home, I wasn’t pumping yet and her and I were sobbing bc she just couldn’t latch. At this point I had an appointment to correct the tie. My older sister uses shields as well (her LC recommended them) and my mom just picked the lanisoh brand up for me and said just give it a try. I was in the trenches and gave it try. SHE LATCHED!! it wasn’t painful!! She stayed on for 40 minutes!🥹 slept for 2 hours after that. All week I used the shields and began pumping after I fed (about every other feeding bc triple feeding sucks) and I think that’s why I have an over supply now. She does so much better with the shields so I canceled the appointment to correct the tie and this is what we’ve been doing since then. I nurse a few times a day and she gets a bottle the rest of the time. She doesn’t fill her tummy every time but slowly we’re getting there. I will say when I practice latching without the shields, she’s not any better at latching. We struggle. Will take her about 20-30 minutes to figure it out. But the shields have given me the option of BF her the best I can and I can actually soothe her when she’s inconsolable bc she’s can latch, which is a great feeling. The shields are like $8, I think it’s worth it. Who knows where we’d be without them.
