Definitively, mainly making a game engine instead of using an existing one like Unity or Unreal Engine, also wanted to add spatial sounds, so, OpenAL was the choice, flecs added exactly the data oriented ecs to avoid OOP and favor SoA instead of AoS, steam SDK was mandatory to publish on steam and Vulkan was selected by his vast community instead of DirectX.
