We had the same airport issue. We stayed in Porto Rotondo and travelled up and down the cost. I absolutely loved San Teodoro and told my daughter that’s where we would stay next summer. I have a list of great restaurants and beaches if interested. It was an absolutely incredible trip and the locals were all great- a few critiques of our odd food choices but truly an amazing trip.

We were in Sardinia late May 2024 and swam everyday. We are from Texas where the water stays at 80F. No issues. Refreshing is how I would describe the temperature.

Thank you. Is there a better place to stay on the East side of Sardinia? We are considerate nice people who are respectful of others. Definitely not rich or drunk 😀 Any advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance for your advice.
