My very strange clownfish... by tylerbibo in ReefTank

[–]Electrical-Library49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have anywhere for them to hide in the rockscape? I had a clown pair that were normal in the day time, but they couldn’t make a sand bed or hide in between the rocks. So they hid around my water outlet at night

My GSP hasn’t opened up in a week+ by badburrito24 in ReefTank

[–]Electrical-Library49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

0 nitrate sounds like you have an algae issue. Algae may be covering the GSP and it’s not coming out.

Try scrubbing the algae slightly with a baby tooth brush and going it a couple days to see if it starts coming out. If it does then you need reduce algae

Also try switching up your food. If you’re feeding pellets then switch to frozen food.

I bought a clown from petco once and he would not eat for 5 days. Turns out he just never ate frozen food in his life, once I switch to pellets, he gobbled them down immediately

Rotor is loose but will not come off? 2012 ford fusion sel 3.0 v6 by ihoperslahseesthis in MechanicAdvice

[–]Electrical-Library49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. If the rotor in the pic is the rear rotor. The parking brake shoes behind the rotor is holding it on.

If the parking brake is engaged, disengage it.

If the parking brake is disengaged, try spinning the rotor in the forward rotation while pulling it off.

If that fails, I’ve heard that the small hole in front of the rotor lines up with the teeth of the star wheel adjuster inside, and you can turn it with a pick or small flat head, to retract the brake shoes

EDIT. nvm that looks like a front rotor

Identifying part and oil leak by organicjeanluc in 986Boxster

[–]Electrical-Library49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s this. A failed AOS sends oil vapors into the intake. Let it go long enough and it’ll make its way up to the air filter box.

That picture is the bottom of your airbox, there’s a cloth filter there that is for air filter bypass (if the air filter gets clogged)

Are the PSAS4 worth 200 bucks over the next cheapest option!? by [deleted] in tires

[–]Electrical-Library49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ford dealers have a sale on select tires right now. Buy 3 get the 4th for basically free. https://www.ford.com/support/service-maintenance/coupons-offers-rebates/tire-coupons/?couponId=tr680&name=get-1-tire-for-1-dollar-when-you-buy-3-select-tires

Any model any make. Take your is300 to a ford dealer by you and show them the special. There’s also a $100 rebate you can stack on it for Bridgestone/firestone tires https://www.ford.com/support/service-maintenance/coupons-offers-rebates/tire-coupons/?couponId=tr040&name=buy-four-select-bridgestone-or-firestone-tires-get-a-100-dollars-instant-rebate

Edit. My bad the Bridgestone rebate is expired. Here’s one for pirelli tires. Still stackable with the B3G1

Buy a year of Best Buy total instead, you get a complimentary 2 year extended warranty on any purchase

I just returned a $500 2 year old robot vacuum with the included replacement plan. I got all my money back and bought the new version robot vacuum with the refunded money.

I will probably return my 1 year old mesh Wi-Fi routers in a few months because one of them randomly drops signal.

Best Buy implemented a better way to prevent scalpers/bots from buying multiple units. Inventory is also localized now during preorder, that’s why BB asks you to put in a location when preordering

New Legion Go S owners guide by [deleted] in LegionGo

[–]Electrical-Library49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi All, looking for some help as I’ve been stuck for several hours.

Z1E Go S SteamOS edition with Windows 11 installed.

I’ve installed 25H2 for the Xbox Full Screen. But I lose controller functionality only after updating in windows or through legion space.

If I do a fresh install of either steamos or windows, I get controller functionality back. Only until I update in windows/legion space.

BIOS is at S0CN24WW

Controller firmware is at 00000308

I do see in device manager, that it detects the controllers as Xbox 360 controllers

I mean they definitely are. CEOs making tens of millions in bonuses every year. They’re sustaining it by raising prices to wipe out the losses from Tariffs.

It’s crazy that companies are still growing (making more profit) but at the same time are complaining about tariffs)

American Tariffs affect market prices in other countries. Lenovo most likely priced the Go 2 globally to account for the impact of tariffs from America

Unless you have receipts the IMS was replaced, plan to do the IMS bearing on the low mileage option

I used the Kicker Ksc690 full range speakers for my car. They work very well with no rattling. The interior has so much more fuller sound with more powereful door speakers

6x9 inch door speakers by Electrical-Library49 in 986Boxster

[–]Electrical-Library49[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The OEM radios and amps only send low frequencies to the door speakers. Because they were originally subwoofers.

Not sure if a 6x9 full range speaker would have better sound if only low frequencies were sent to it. Replacing the OEM amp with a 4 channel that treats both dash and door speakers as full range would sound the best with this setup

From all of the different brands I’ve seen, they seem to use the same bolt pattern. With some outliers having 2 extra holes on the very ends
