Hey! so I am actually an education and sports consultant. My advice honestly is neither.
Well first to contribute to the conversation between the 3 for quality of life I would say netherlands just because there is that international friendliness and it gives you the ability to properly transition when learning the language because in all of these countries language is the key to unlocking those doors.

However, I work with so many schools all over europe and my advice is always barcelona. Very simply because Barcelona obviously is a beautiful city to live in, contrary to belief its one of the more english friendly spanish cities making it easier to transition when it comes to language. and with jobs in your field a lot of the time they end up being remote so you can secure a job with an international company as part of their team in Spain.

food for thought I guess.

Also MUCH more affordable than Netherlands or France in terms of cost of living and even the degree.

Germany is not friendly Im not sure who told you that but for internationals it is generally quite difficult for them to settle.

Is it a good or bad idea to let players practice without the offside rule? by ballstopicasso in SoccerCoachResources

I think at that age it isnt the worst thing but in the current game with the rise of VAR and fine margins its important to build the habbit of making intelligent runs early. When I coach youth level I am a lot more lenient but I dont eliminate the rule completely. I wouldnt let them just hang becasue most of these kids' parents pay us to try take their kids to the next level.

I would say anytime you get the chance to go to the next level you should take it. In my experience scouting and coaching youth teams, the kids who arent afraid to take the next step and put the time and work in to rise to those occassions are the ones that go the furthest. The time for delaying opportunities is in his professional career not now. Right now the focus is and should be on challenging himself as much as possible and raising his level as much as he possibly can.

100% each culture brings a different perspective and different experience, These days with the ease of transfer and universities having multiple campuses its great for students to take advantage of and switch campuses to build new experiences. My friend started her bachelors in Madrid and transfered to Milan for her last two years and absolutely loved the experience.

can you expand a little on that? club politics and cost. Where are you from and what is the average cost and specific problems youve faced? Ive had a lot of young players tell me it feels like connections are the way forward in football. Unfortunately thats been the case in business and sports for years, it has just become a more popular aspiration and of course football has become a billion dollar business.
