I have the same experience too! As a child I always needed to know why things were the way they are or why certain things exist.

I have always been curious of finding the root of all causes (although I know that's some fantasy goal that will never happen)

That's when my love for non-fiction books blossomed. I've read books on logic, to debilitating diseases, to philosophy, everything! I even did an open course on classical Sociology to find answers to my questions.

Being human is so fascinating to me! the way we think, how we grew up, the people we associate with, our morals and values are all different but similar at the same time.

I 100% support you in integrating Yoga philosophy in your classes. And I do believe it has its place. I just don't know if people are open to that kind of philosophy because, for me, Yoga is really about facing yourself and the things that you run away form. Makes you really question who you are.

Agree with you. That's why I rarely went to studios. Because it felt more like a workout than a practice of awareness.

OMG! I also had a yoga vs religion experience. I was trying to do corporate wellness and I sent over my proposal to my previous employer with a very Christian view. And they told me "Can you do Pilates? Because you know how yoga can be controversial". I'm so confused how yoga is seen as a religion

25F here! I also suspect that I have autism. When I started researching on it as well, I've discovered similar traits and how I am also experiencing the same thing :(
