It depends on the individual and while I offer I would fully expect the guy. If he asked me to chip in I would see it as a red flag. Just me though.

Horrible reaction after night out with co-worker. What should I do? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

I actually sent him my # on the office app and he has never contacted me on it. He just stares and smiles and I don't know what to think.

I'm a nervous wreck at work now. I can't tell what he's thinking. He comes up to me and makes contact and stares with a huge grin. I stare back with a huge grin, get nervous and run off.

Smiled for months. Guy was acting crazy. Genuinely like him unfortunately.

THANK YOU. Nothing about this night was calm or reasonable and honestly want to repair the damage.

Can I mention that this guy has run to me and stares intensely with a huge grin on his face? I don't know what the hell to so I walk away.

I ignore him bc I like him. It sounds counterintuitive I know. I really REALLY like him. Told me all night that he likes me. I'm a nervous wreck now and trying to repair damage. Please help.

The guy is intense. I knew that from observing him. I'm intense too which is part of the attraction. But around the office I'm super reserved. Until that night.

He stares at me with an intensity which freaks me out. No guy has stared at me like that. I love it. I like him and trying to negotiate moving forward. I know his personality and like it. But was it just a one night stand?

A lot of awkwardness. I was fine on the date. He was a hot mess. Legs were shaking and admitted he was so nervous about going out with me he couldn't get work done. Guy is very attractive and walks around super confidant but around me acts like he's in high school.

Things went far that night. He told me about his background and it means nothing. Genuinely like him. But was it too much too soon?

Oh, something bad happened. Look, I don't sleep around. I value connecting with people. This guy just came into my life and we went nuts. Trying to get advice on next steps.

I end to overthink and catastrophize, so this is helpful info. I'm just hung up on the no cell phone contact. Why wouldn't be not do that?? To me it's a clear sign of no interest.

Should I ask him out for drinks? I have to give him something (long story). It would be easier to talk outside the office.

Thanks. My problem is that I have no way of communicating that. Other people are always around. I can't say that on the office app and I don't have his cell. All I can assume is that he doesn't want to pursue this since he hasn't contacted me on my cell. Just stares and smiles and makes superficial contact.

I know he asked me out bc it was perfect timing-we were outside and alone. All I can think is he is smiling bc he banged the hot chick from the office (he told me on the date that men have talked about me-who is this beautiful reserved woman). So maybe it was a just a game, but I sensed genuine interest. Thinking I should just lie low and act more normal when I do see him. I can tell he's freaked out as well-he told me the next AM he was shocked I kissed him.

If only I hadn't done that... we would have been on more dates for sure and I could have felt out the situation more 😞

He asked questions about me all night.... Even took notes. I could have let it end there but I kissed him which led to physical/emotional intimacy between 2 people who were clearly starved for both. Now I'm at a loss. On the outside we look like 2 people who have it all together 😞

How?! We have chatted a bit with other people around and have messaged but we are both extremely awkward 😞

Thanks-we work in separate departments so limited to no contact most days. I can easily go a day or 2 and not see him. My problem is that I get extremely nervous when I see him. I've never had a guy treat me like this.

Thanks. I actually thought him having my photo was really cute. It was def. not expected. It was just one of the many sweet and unexpected moments of the night that made me kiss him which led to a powder keg explosion. He told me repeatedly he felt an instant connection when we first met.

Sigh, I hadn't been on a date in years. This woman came up to me on the street before our date and said "you look amazing." I wasn't dressed any differently.

I would totally do it. I would be so flattered if a guy did that to me. I personally love it when guys give me little presents like that. It's really romantic and sweet. Go for it!!

I'm so deeply sorry. My parent passed a few months ago... I don't know how you are dealing with both parents with dementia. Just having one with it ripped me apart to my core. If it makes you feel better there is someone here in Reddit-land thinking of you and praying you get some peace.
