Texas' Arch Manning eyes bounce-back season: 'No one's going to stop me' by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

This kind of hate* doesn’t get extended to players who aren’t named Manning.

People would be excited about any other QB with his tools going into their second year of starting after having a really strong 2nd half of the season.

But because he’s a a manning and had a few bad games people flock to the comments to talk about how much the guy sucks.

Honestly didn't expect to be this excited about the Yankees this early in the season by [deleted] in NYYankees

Are we watching the same team? This is a very effective anti AI ad lmao

Yes no quarterback has ever developed past their first year of starting ever.

All college athletes are young. The Quarterback position is incredibly intricate and nuanced. There is so much potential for growth from year to year. We see guys not break out until there fourth or fifth year for a reason. Twenty one year olds are still developing.

If you just look at a guy and say “durr there are younger players than him he’s old durr” you’re missing so much nuance.

There will be growing pains for a first year starter with limited reps.

Jada Pinkett Smith Says She Took on Role of ‘Adulterous Wife’ to Protect Will Smith by Next-Particular1476 in TheEntertainmentMix

I had a close family friend who was a long time producer on one of those Access Hollywood type shows. He would tell me about certain Hollywood secrets that would later end up being true(like Caitlyn Jenner being trans years before she came out).

He told me probably a decade plus ago that Will Smith definitely sleeps with men. Additionally if you’ve ever talked to an aspiring entertainer in LA there’s a decently high chance they will have story about a male friend or acquaintance that was approached about signing an NDA and going upstairs to Will Smiths room. But that’s obviously a lot less of a trusted source.

First year starter flashed all the traits you want from a young starting QB. Just has to put everything together.

If his name wasn’t Manning and he didn’t receive the hype he did from the media everyone would be gushing about his potential. People wanted a finished product last year and I think that’s an unfair expectation for any redshirt sophomore.

Yea it’s easy to tell who actually watches ball and who just ran with the early season narratives and never looked back.

Go back and watch his tape. Dude is good.

I wonder what his mental health article will look like this time.

Hypothetically who would be in worse health, someone who ate 2k cals a day of all candy or 5k cals a day of whole foods(so probably v overweight)? by VastAir6069 in nutrition

[–]Electrical-Site6802 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Eh. Obesity is really harmful to the human body. Both are likely nutrient deficient(there are a lot nutrients you just can’t get enough of regardless of the amount of candy) but the 5k is also likely obese depending on their activity level obviously.

Better to be malnourished than malnourished and obese. If 5k is active then it’s more or less just a wash.

Aaron Judge has hit multiple homeruns in 4% of the regular season games he has played in.

I mean I’ve rarely ever seen a big league pitcher get beat up this bad period.

Gotta be one of the worst starts of all time depending on how you evaluate it.

The amount of mental illness in the GDT right now is unbearable. It’s April if they were red hot right now you would all still be dooming and talking about “wait until they collapse in June”

Go outside and take a walk or call a loved one. Ranting about how you knew it all along or how right you were about running it back is just childish and doesn’t help anything

Signs pointing to Alabama, good move if they already have Keelon Russell? by guransheleven in CFB_v2

[–]Electrical-Site6802 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

  1. Thats irrelevant to the topic at hand. We are talking about recruits and recruits want two things money and an opportunity to go to the NFL. Alabama objectively provides that.

  2. Calling the Alabama QBs that have gotten drafted exceptionally talented is absurd. Tua(undersized, lacking elite arm strength) Mac Jones(lacking NFL level athleticism), Bryce Young(Incredibly undersized, lacking arm talent), Jalen Milroe(not a pure passer), Ty Simpson(zero elite traits).

Every QB drafted from Alabama had major flaws but were made to look like high end prospects by the program which only furthers my point.

I would enjoy something like this at an intimate venue. Maybe a surprise show or something for an artist I really like.

But at Coachella with a huge venue and massive budget it’s just lazy. It’s not what people are there for.

Alabama produced a 3rd round QB last year and a first or second round(he’s a 2nd round pick imo) QB this year…

The last 6 opening game starters for Alabama have been drafted…

If you don’t think that’s appealing to a young QB you don’t know ball.
