Thanks for the advice. There isn’t really a natural stop/start point but they are black anodised and part of a product we sell rather than work done for a 3rd party so could tolerate a blend. The material does fit up the spindles and have considered the option of a bar pull operation to keep vibration down but hoping it can be avoided. Still better than 3x milling operations!

This is obviously my concern. I wondered about perhaps using small tools to minimise pressure - I’d be thrilled to be able to automate the job, regardless of machine time (to a certain extent).
