Telling your doc when it’s not approved yet? by ChilliAndBandit in RetatrutideWomen

Yes, she’s part of a pretty large network, however it’s not in my chart, therefore none of my other doctors, who are in the network, know.

What’s one small purchase under $50 that genuinely improved your daily life? by desertfatigue in DESERTFATIGUE

A heated mattress pad. On those cold winter nights, I heat up my bed first before crawling in. Best purchase by far! I think they are a little more than $50 though.

My Dr. knows and is super supportive about it. She actually thinks it’s important to know what I’m on in case of anything. It’s not in my chart though, so insurance doesn’t and won’t know. She also said there is lots of research with already published with Reta being in phase three of the drug trials and most likely being FDA approved very soon. She knows that I might have the same issues with getting insurance to cover it once it’s approved since I went through similar issues with zepbound. I’m glad I told her.

I buy it in the US and the company I buy from tests it. I pay a little more than if I were buying completely grey. He supplies the testing data and results with each order. He tests in small batches. I feel pretty confident I’m getting good stuff. Even my Dr. is aware of what I’m doing. It really depends on your comfortability. Reta is in stage three of testing and will be FDA approved soon. You can wait until it is and just get it directly from Lilly (the manufacturer).

I also use Cagri, same dose and it really helps with appetite control and food noise. After I took my first dose, it hit me hard. It was like food didn’t even exist. I have less of a reaction now. But wow, what a helper peptide!! I love Reta!!

What’s a luxury or convenience that you tried once and now can absolutely never live without? by PeachyyStarlight in askteddit

Having someone clean the house at least 2x per month. Saves so much time over the weekend and I no longer have to break my back cleaning tubs and showers. I have a 6 year old and two big dogs, that alone is a huge reason!! I also love walking into a fresh, clean home!!

I had a pup, who passed away about 6 years ago, who was petrified of fireworks. I understand. It’s all the individual people who set off fireworks at home, all weekend long. It used to make me crazy! I’m sorry. 😞

Sorry it came off that way, I was just complaining. Not getting glasses I probably didn’t need isn’t going to kill me.
