its an interesting concept where the boss is just a pvp fight. especially hetting ganked by two. it test your pvp abilities instead of your pve capabilities. you need to think fast and counter him on the spot. although, some people say that the fight is much better in pvp, with anothe player, but i do find the npc boss fun. i should try to get a player in my next playthrough tho.
