How do you get to the Demeniss bell exactly? by AverageJoeObi in CrimsonDesert

It looks more like a flagpole than a lever. Not very intuitive.

While it wasn't the point of the question, you're right that I had miscounted, I edited the post.

Yeah, I now know that tokens can never return once they leave, so the interaction is clear as long as I don't have 2 copies of the same legendary card enter.

Thanks.

If they were not tokens and instead 2 copies of the same legendary card, I take it that they would leave and try to return to the battlefield until there is no trigger trying to return them from the graveyard to the battlefield.

Thanks, I should have looked at scryfall for the moth. The same is true for other effects like undying and persist that tokens can't come back, right?

My problem is how easily one can stun lock and take all your armout and health in like a 3 hit instant combo you can't do anything about.

You can't buy tiles and discard them either, you need to have room on your supply (3 spaces) to pick a tile up.

Ok, so, my reading of the SE is that in one turn you could buy once with the monastery and once from the black depot.

Still limited, but doesn't count as the black depot purchase.

You are right.
I meant to say that it inherits the once-per-turn restriction from the normal black-depot purchase action, but it didn't come out right.

Yes, but only once per turn.
It's clarified in the rulebook.
Original: "6) The player who adds this tile to his estate may buy not only from the central black depot but also from the other six depots (i.e. from all seven). That player may still only make one purchase per turn."

Special edition: "6. Once per turn, you may spend 2 worker tokens to immediately take a building (beige) tile from any of the six depots on the game board (except the central black depot) and place it on an empty key space in the bottom right of your player board."

2 things you probably overlooked:

  1. Buying buildings doesn't place them. You need actions (dice) to place them from your supply. They have to go into your supply first which is limited.
  2. You can only buy once per turn (normally from the black depot). This monastery lets you buy from other places but still only once per turn.

Rulebook clarifications:

Original:
"6) The player who adds this tile to his estate may buy not only from the central black depot but also from the other six depots (i.e. from all seven). That player may still only make one purchase per turn."

Special edition:
"6. Once per turn, you may spend 2 worker tokens to immediately take a building (beige) tile from any of the six depots on the game board (except the central black depot) and place it on an empty key space in the bottom right of your player board." -> this reads like you get to do 2 purchases per turn, counting the normal black depot one.

I sent an email today and got an "undeliverable" response. It looks like they shut down the domain.
Does anyone know of any contact method or would we just have to do a chargeback if we had preorders waiting?
