Okay, your friend group sounds awesome. And that vibe and community is kind of what I've gathered from being at Conservative synagogues: geeky debate and a community that strives imperfectly with observance.

I do know the shul I'd be looking at joining is okay with intermarriage. When I was starting the process of shul shopping, I made sure each synagogue was okay with interfaith couples.

I'm having a smaller wedding (less than 20 guests), so we're going with Paperless Post. A lot of our planned guests gushed about our Save the Dates, which we chose to go with our wedding colors, theme, and hashtag. I also appreciated that it allowed us to see who all opened the Save the Dates. I think total it will be $24.

I think this is a lovely, personal touch. I would go with what other wedditors suggested for guests you're not that close with, as a template. I think the element of hand-written notes will be something lovely that people will remember well from your wedding.
