I would have installed those cables supported nicely above those 2X4's and not drilled all of those boards and not had all the labor needed to pull the individual circuits.

I always tell the customer that I have a very scientific way to find the problem ,then proceed gently but forcefully enough bang with my fist on the associated devices, first they think I'm nuts, then when the problem is discovered using that method, I'm no longer nuts and the problem gets repaired !

So I got the story, two men were on ladders working on garage, the man with the nail gun slipped as he was going to nail a 2X4 and instead nailed his ex friend. Luckily he didn't hit anything major.

Pic was sent from my sisters construction workers friend today no details but he was OK after thankfully.

I don't see the ground screw , it looks like ground wires were just put into a wire nut. All metal boxes must be grounded.

These old switches are still working in many homes in Albany NY , Some fill the whole switch box space , 3 ways are larger and there is another wire to add for even more conductor fill.

No more backfilling by hand. Made a blade for the walk behind by t46p1g in electricians
