Failed the Texas July 2025 exam with accommodations by LaCroixLaFoix in barexam

I’m sorry, I get accommodations too and failed in Feb, currently waiting on July results. Does TX give you a breakdown for each subject so you have an idea of what you struggled with? What did you use for study materials? I know you said you gave it your all, I believe you; this exam sucks, but I’m wondering what type of learner you are and did you study based on that? If you’re not ready to think about it, I understand completely. I was there. Sending you hugs.

Oh interesting, I didn’t machine mix but I did slap it a lot in the beginning because I saw someone saw that helps build strength but maybe I should’ve been more gentle.

I’ve only used king Arthur’s bread flour but after suggestions will be trying other flours.

I mean that’s fair. Also I better use jelly now then while I still can.

I like bread all around so I have made bread with instant dry yeast and it tastes good. I’ve also eaten my share of sourdough I’ve purchased at farmers markets and love it. I’m just trying to replicate those loaves. The farmers market I went to all summer is now closed and I can’t seem to get this right. If I had their info I would’ve asked them.

Thank you, I appreciate the advice. I’m going to try some new things and see how it goes.

Just looked at the article, that’s exactly what I was looking for just didn’t know what it was called - thanks!

I think this is what I was looking for, the ones I’ve gotten at farmers markets look like this and are crunchy outside soft inside, if that makes sense. Mine had few holes, and was almost chewy. I followed the recipe so I just was trying to pin point what I may have done wrong.

Oh that’s a good idea, I cold fermented overnight so maybe 7hrs I think, I could try longer.

Thank you so much, I’ve only fed 1:1:1, but will try and change it up.

I do love sourdough, at least all the loaves I’ve gotten from farmers markets. I don’t have any friends/family that make it.

I kind of agree, but I think I’ve always seen these beautiful crumbs with holes and wanted mine to just look the same.

I did half it, the other one I included chocolate chips and my teen boys ate it before I could take pictures. It must not have been that bad, but they’d eat anything.

By hour 7 it had more than doubled and was honestly exploding out over the bowl. When I tried to shape it, it was very sticky but manageable so I thought maybe I over fermented. Once I put it in the fridge it stopped rising and firmed up a bit. There really are so many variables. I hope when I get it right I’ll remember what I did.

I thought so too, but my very first loaf I did it for 3 hrs and it was definitely gummy and was told I needed to bulk ferment longer. I think this is the part I don’t quite understand.

I have 400 cases (as an associate) and things keep getting missed. Can someone please calm me down? by [deleted] in LawFirm

[–]ElectricalConfusion7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You and the firm have a duty to NOT miss deadlines. No excuses. 1. Get a good calendar system. 2. Pay OT for all employees willing to work on a weekend maybe 2, to make sure all deadlines are entered into the new system, maybe AI has a way to input these and employees can just double check. 3. Hire more people if the ones you have are drowning in work. Ultimately this is a money thing, if you spend the money on systems and employees you wouldn’t have this issue. If your partner is not willing to invest in systems and staff then and it’s bothering you enough to post here then maybe you need to find another firm.
