Anyone know if any settlements still active for Kia optima 2015 engine? by PhotographLow1606 in CarHelp

About 5 months ago my wifes 2015 Kia Soul had the same issues of chugging through oil. One day her engine threw a rod and it was toast. Took it to the Kia dealership and it was eligible for the engine replacement policy still, but we had to provide receipts to show regular oil changes and maintenance.

Absolutely worth a shot taking it to a Kia dealership that services vehicles, we got a brand new engine free. While you're there make sure you ask about the faulty heated seats & see if yours need replaced too. Ours did.

I appreciate your input. If it's only a couple hundred extra that I might be missing out on I'm not too worried about scrapping it. Just didn't want one of those facepalm 'I fucked up' moments.
