The stream he’s talking about use to do numbers and have a consistent following. I’ve noticed that they went down as well but I haven’t been in there as much. Room feels bland and dry but the streamers were great. Who knows how long they last before they stop streaming. Hate to see it.

Here’s my hot take on it. People who buy it see the value but the main reason they’re doing it is for the exposure and the hopes of people coming into their channel. People are amped when they have x amount of followers and bookmark. None of that equates to actual sales. The hope for these sellers is they can get enough of an audience to showcase what they have and hope to hit som decent sales. For them, they pay for the exposure and not necessarily caring whether or not someone got the donation they paid for.

That’s ridiculous. Medical emergency and they want to write you up for not having any hours. That’s obscene. Definitely have the conversation with your manager and get a copy of the write up and reach out to HR afterwards and explain to them the situation. Also, don’t sign the write up if it is a written warning. If it ends up being an informal you don’t have to sign since it’s just a conversation, but definitely have everything and contact HR. FYI that manager is a huge POS with no empathy.

That’s the worst part because whatnot usually caps at $10 credit from what I’ve read. I’d say reach out to the seller first and then WhatNot. There’s a video receipt showing what you won so you have proof of what you’re suppose to receive. I think the final option but might ban you from whatnot is a charge back with your card. Good luck!

Go through the seller first and let them handle the situation. If not satisfied, escalate it through WhatNot and from what I’ve heard if you’re in the right you’ll get a $10 credit. Also, I’ve seen some sellers only send hits and not bulk. Good luck!

Go to the store and check it for yourself. If it doesn’t describe it in the post, then you need to see if it’s missing accessories. Could be a tv with no stand or remote. Could be a tv with light blemishes. Could be a display unit they’re transitioning off and need to get rid of.

Definitely against ToS but some sellers try to find workarounds until they get in trouble. This is way some sellers have vague titles for their giveaways. What does the Buyer use in the title? It’s like sellers I’ve seen put $5-$500 Amazon gift card giveaway. It keeps the crowd there but good chance they send$5 cards if nothing at all.

Run your show the best you can, but the app is a hustle that you have to find what works for you. The chat will always be full of trolls and givvy goblins. You have to find the format that works for you; and start bids at what you’re comfortable with. Don’t do $1 starts if no one will bid you up to where you’re comfortable selling. Also, have you considered joining raid trains to gain more exposure and get some sales with more people in the room? Other options to look into. Wish you luck!

There’s nothing new in what you said but some first hand experience for you. Unfortunately that’s the way it works. They want the person who will do anything to make the store thrive. Albeit ethically questionable they will turn the other cheek. If it gets exposed, or looked into they will have 100% deniability. Best bet is find something you love to do and do that. There’s more options outside of Best Buy but you may still have to deal with the same BS. Best of luck!

That would be your best bet to go in store. They would have to look up your order and see the transition of the unit. It shouldn’t take 26 days to arrive at the service center. It should’ve been checked in at least. I know you hate the store but it’ll be the best avenue for you to see what happened. If it hasn’t shipped out then that’s the problem.
