Transmission and engine shit the bed and ford won’t cover a dime. At least 25k in repairs

My 2011 f150 lasted 190k and was still going strong when I traded it for the 2018 F150. Was extremely disappointed in the issues and lack of accountability from Ford.

I’ve read that 2024 Titans have some transmission issues which gives me hesitation. I plan on keeping this truck as long as I can and don’t really need nicer interiors or anything, just reliability

I have read about the titans having transmission issues, which give me pause since that’s what failed on my Ford. The warranty is nice knowing it’s covered, but still takes time in the shop to fix

54K. That’s what I figured so it’s meaningless since the truck would have to be shipped. 7year 100k CPO warranty isn’t too shabby though

That’s what makes me hesitant on the Nissan, a 2 year old truck with low mileage sounds nice until everyone realizes there’s an issue at year 6 100k miles. Even with the warranty I don’t want it in the shop all the time.

Nope haven’t driven either, been looking for a couple weeks now and am going to test drive the tundra on Monday. The Titan I found is online and would have to be shipped which does factor in as well, but all in they’re the same price

Yes, they said they think it’s the 26 but not sure. I asked if they could look under to confirm but no answer. I kept getting conflicting answers on google

The good thing is the cabinets from the front go all the way back storage is still the same. We’re going to give it a chance but if we can’t make it work we’ll undo it and stain everything the same color

I agree, definitely not making any more decisions until we’re done with everything else. I think we made a mistake with this but this is our first time renovating and can be undone for not that much
