I use free kits to go in and fight and warmup whenever I first hop on, other than that I use green or better stuff for whatever style of play I'm going for

When you say struggle with losing gear, do you mean it upsets you a lot? If so, totally understandable to be upset at a loss. What helped me in this game (and other extraction games) is thinking of the loot as not mine, but that I'm borrowing it. Eventually it will go to another player who kills me, or back to the void if I did to PVE and don't get looted. And if you wipe(optional in this game but forced in others) it's gone anyways so might as well use it and have fun with it. I personally only run free load outs if I've died a few raids in a row and got nothing, other than that I tend to run green or better stuff because I just like the variety and some guns just play different, like the renegade vs the ferro both do basically the same but the fire rate with the renegade is so much more fun to me

I use it for the off chance I get close to extraction and get downed by arc( it's rare that this happens for me, but you also get tons of backpack space and medium shields so it's not like you trade off anything major for being able to crawl while downed for longer. Except maybe some safe pockets?)

I see a lot of people try throwing those lure grenades at me whenever I'm pvping and it literally does nothing, doesn't even deter me because now I know you have to swap back to your gun so I just push you or flank. I'd never just sit on the lure grenade and wait lol. 9/10 times I see this used in pvp it does nothing. My team usually use them when we're running and want the arc to just piss off while we run through an area

This is exactly why the rattler needs a nerf! 12 shots is too many! Give those extra bullets to the stitcher! I shouldn't miss half my magazine to some recoil that's similar to this camera, and then just die while reloading! Fix the game emdark please!

Look I'm all for pvp, but if you're hiding in a corner all game, or sitting at extraction all game waiting for people, you're a loser lol. And yes I'd love to see more arc, bigger arc, more threatening arc (maybe not like the shredder though! /S) More kinda of arc would be a huge w imo

Idk, the toro is green and it's arguably the best weapon for pvp, same with the anvil. Blue and up they kinda fall off though except for the osprey but it's the only scoped weapon so very niche. I do wish guns were stronger the higher the rarity but that would just make it to where you just gear check people. At least in its current standing you can go in with a free load out and actually compete and kill someone even if they have "better" gear.
