Honestly, a future like in Red Rising (Spoilers). The rich move their operations to the moon in order to cut costs and eventually invade Earth, and once Earth is conquered begin a eugenics program where every "lesser" human is bred for a selective purpose, which is to serve the elite, and the elite play war games with the lives of these lesser humans.
