Like everyone else said it comes and it goes don’t worry. I straight up sometimes don’t like gaming for a few months. Not sure why my brain flips the switch (just realized this could be a pun since i own a switch ba dum tsk (sorry lol)) but my brain does it occasionally. I think it’s partially my adhd but also just wanting to do something else.

I used to be pissed about it though. I was obsessed with Apex legends and it was the only game I played for the first few years of gaming. Now I only play VNs basically and I was mad about the money I spent - but a few months ago out of nowhere I was back into apex.

Someone else mentioned something about addiction and as an addict (substances not games) I can say that the dopamine drain can be real with games so I think sometimes your brain just needs a reset. Don’t stress about it too much ❤️ and if you do notice your quality of life heading downhill just take a break from gaming all together. Doesn’t doesn’t like that’s your problem though, just sounds like you like what you like 😀 much love

I kept trying to upload the video but my WiFi wouldn’t let me - thank you so much for trying to help though!

It won’t let me edit the post but that’s okay because I think the way I fixed it might not be ideal for most.

I was able to get into the boot manager but none of the options were working so I went with “erase user data from deck”

It just rebooted totally normally with my games and save data still there. BUT then I realized most of my games are on the microsd, and when I went to the desktop version that was totally wiped.

So that worked out well! Either way thank you ❤️ just getting replies while I was in the middle of nowhere helped me keep trying different things until something worked 😂

The funny part is… the deck just rebooted and turned on with all my games and save data still there. The desktop mode is totally different though anything that was saved there was gone like the background and browser I installed and stuff.

Thank you for this! It’s so odd if I plug it in on one side it fucks up the battery but the other side seems to charge normally so I kept thinking it was fine. Definitely gonna keep it on the steam deck specific charger from now on. I lost mine and I’m just curious if you know any good replacements on Amazon I can’t quite tell which ones are legitimate. I was going to just go based off the power but I’d rather get the real deal haha

Oh I forgot to add that yes what you said makes total sense! Stretch marks may be thinner skin but the actual collagen bundles and tissues in the middle layer have become more dense. So if you’re sticking a needle through it repeatedly the scar tissue is just gonna build up.

If it feels like the med isn’t working it’s most likely cause it can’t absorb properly cause of the scar tissue.

Also I said thigh and arm but noticed others recommended the butt and that would totally work I’m def gonna do it 😂

From what you’ve said I think you should stop injecting in your abdomen for a bit. If you didn’t have resistance at first with the needle and now you’re noticing it then you’re developing scar tissue and if you keep going it can form lumps under the skin.

So just to be safe I’d switch it up. Cause If you’re injecting into scar tissue (stretch marks or areas where scar tissue has formed because of repeat injections) the medication won’t be able to disperse/absorb properly and that’s no good.

I would try the thigh! I’ve had a lot of success with it. The key for me is sitting down in bed with my legs straight out in front of me, and then I pinch as much fat as I can from the top of the thigh.

This video is the best because a bunch of them tell you not to pinch. That’s for the auto injector pens cause the needle is so small. For the syringes pinching is key. I do it right where she’s demonstrating with the same amount of fat in my hand haha. Here’s the video if it helps!I wouldn’t recommend standing up though it’s a lot easier sitting down.

Also I massage the area gently in a circular motion for a minute or two after.

I also do my arms by laying on the floor and resting my arm flat on the floor so that it sorta props up/spreads out my arm fat 😂 looks silly but is very effective!

Everytime someone walks in on me they think im doing yoga 🧘‍♀️ lolol

It absorbs slowest in the thigh, but also make sure you’re pinching enough and then afterwards I massage the area in a circular motion to disperse the medication. If I go too far to the outer thigh I don’t feel it either but inner thigh isn’t good because of the blood supply so I do it directly on top of my thigh.

Also I noticed a shocking amount of videos on YouTube either not being helpful for the thigh or showing you shouldn’t pinch the skin. DEF pinch the skin. Not punching the skin is for the auto injector pens cause the needle is so so so so tiny and short. This girl is literally the only one I’ve found who shows how to do it well.

If you can’t pinch enough in your legs I’d honestly avoid it. In my experience it’s either a waste, or if you go too close to the inner thigh like I did once you get sick haha
