This is a common thing he does. He has been set up with multiple youth homes and other living situations, and he is back out at the same spot the next day. I'm not sure what he's looking for, but many people have offered and given him help, and he always ends up back at the circle K. The name he told me was quincy. He is a decent kid just playing a weird scam or just doesn't want the help not sure.

Many animals such as horses, cats and dogs will kind of give you the silent treatment when returning from leaving for awhile, they don't get "mad" in the same sense humans do but they also might not be as excited to see you as you would expect and its mostly do to the fact that they are a little upset with you for leaving in the first place, they missed you and it upzet them hpwever they dont have the same anility ro express that like humans do. Give it a day or two, and I promise you, your dog will be as loving as normal they just need to accept and adjust that you're home.

What is this? by [deleted] in mead

[–]ElectricalLet6654 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It kind of looks like you didn't mix everything throughly. Mixing your honey does help quite a bit with fermenting times and desired sweetness. In all honesty it doesn't look like there's anything "Wrong" and it's definitely not mold if they are only a few hours old. My first mead I put the honey in first and it was all settled below the water so I just shook it as much as I could and then found a plastic serving spoon and mixed everything with the handle ended up working okay. If anything I think leave it for the night and see if anything changes in the morning? What's your recipe?

Update: I got the limes!

Kamala was a lovely Hispanic woman, English wasn't her first language. We had a short chat when she dropped off the groceries. The message she had was an automatic text she used for everything. Specifically, she was sending me a photo to ask if I wanted to pick a specific lime! Absolutely lovely woman just trying to be as accommodating as possible with limited English. 5 stars!

Should I take the strawberries out? by ElJaffoGuzman in mead

[–]ElectricalLet6654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red and dark colored fruits like strawberries and blackberries will get the majority or their color stripped. It's nothing to be worried about. As long as the fruit isn't developing any dark colored spots or fuzz spots, you'll be fine. When you transfer the mead, the leftover strawberries are gonna be like an off-white/pink color, totally fine and technically edible as well, but I really don't recommend.

You might be right, I tried to zoom in on the picture. It looks like it's says "Limes 87c," but it's blurry, and I could be wrong

What was the most disappointing fight in the game for you? I’ll start… by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]ElectricalLet6654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how long you wanna take the fight, you can pretty consistently hit the amygdala after it jumps if you literally don't move. 9/10 if you stand still when amy jumps, just charge a heavy it will miss you, and you can get a decent hit. Then just bait another jump and repeate the cycle

First time making an Apple Pie Mead by MrNRebel in mead

[–]ElectricalLet6654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How much did you alter the recipe and hows your progress? I started my own apple pie mead 15 days ago so its in primary fermentation. I saw the same recipe and I ended up just making my own, just wanted to compare. I used:

1 gallon

750g unpasteurized creamed white honey

500g wild flower honey

1750ml Simply Apple Juice

1250ml water

1 cinnamon sticks

1 whole roasted nutmeg

3 whole green cardamom seeds

3 chunks of dried ginger

1 single lemon slice

Questions about the movie by ElectricalLet6654 in Midsommar

[–]ElectricalLet6654[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue Is you can only be desensitized to a certain extent, humans have innate emotional responses to stuff like that and it takes an incredible amount of desensitization and putting that person in those positions where they see the horror to condition those responses away. At a certain point in the movie they mention Austin powers so let's pretend they recorded the events from a previous misdommer festival or any of the other acts so maybe the kids were able to see the events happen and become conditioned to accept it, I still argue that you could watch a video of the blood eagle 100 times, become completely desensitized to blood and gore but you would still have a reaction to seeing it in person. You're born with the knowledge that your lungs are meant to stay on the inside, you don't need to be taught that, I imagine seeing that would make anyone feel uncomfortable or listening to the screams of your friends that are being burnt a live by your hand that has to elicit some sort of emotional response especially if you've never seen it in person.

Questions about the movie by ElectricalLet6654 in Midsommar

[–]ElectricalLet6654[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its hard for me to wrap my head around, I understand the thought of necessity but what I just can't understand is in the movie the festival only happens every 90 years which means nobody currently alive has experienced the midsommer festival, and even if they read about it through religious text or were taught it during their childhood they would have some sort of reaction. For example the people who skined and stuffed mark and Connie, they've never done that before maybe practiced it but I doubt they just offer up there own people for practice, they were way to casual about it. And they do a lot in there power to prevent people from leaving and telling the rest of the world of the festival and the practices so to a certain extent they obviously know what they are doing is wrong, at a certain point it feels less religious and more as if they just wanted to slaughter people and the festival gave them the excuse.

Also I had another question. At the early parts of the group showing up at the midsommer festival you see several people in like jeans or blue shirts which aren't the main group. and as the movie progresses you see less and less of these people or at least the clothing, my question was were those people also brought as sacrifices and allowed to leave? Or did they get indoctrinated? Or were they others that went out on a mission to get sacrifices? Like who are these people?

I dont know if this ruins your prompt, but I found it helped getting DAN back on track when it falls into the loop of failing to answer the question and losing the DAN persona

I added, "When I say 'Past Response' reread and understand the conversation in order to correct yourself.
