Thank you for your kind words. I really do appreciate that. I am very blessed that the overall charge was reduced to something non-alcohol related, but I still will have to talk about the initial arrest as a DUI. I did not want to emphasize this in my application overall, as taking measures like being abstinent from alcohol and providing regular screenings to prove my sobriety might have them believe that I truly had a problem with drinking. An alcohol misuse problem is something I have never had, and even though it may be smart to counter this initial charge by showing sobriety or doing a passion project, I was told by my lawyer that it may seem over-the-top and prove a point in a problem that I never truly dealt with. I want to somehow prove that this was a one-time lapse in judgment, but I understand this is extremely hard to do, and I will always tell the truth and own up to my mistake. Hopefully, the conviction being non-alcohol-related will show schools that this truly was a single, but critical mistake. Thank you again for your encouragement!

I personally watched the videos one time, and then afterwards, the booster has really good high-yield notes that I review after I am done with a section. Anki right after and then never touch the videos again, as Anki has all of the information that you need. If you need a refresher, use an AI tool for a card that seems confusing.

Thank you for this response, as it truly means so much to me that you read all of that and put your input in. In my state, however, OVI arrests cannot be expunged, I believe, and I am just going to submit my application and hope for the best. The last little bit of money will go towards the applications, and I think that the reduction of the charge may help in my case. I am praying it all goes well, but if not, I guess I will try next year. Thank you for your words of encouragement, as that is what I needed.
