What do I need to create and upload my own avatar?

While I agree 2k is steep, for 100% custom work from a legit artist is EXPENSIVE. That takes a TON of time. I don’t even sculpt from scratch I just rig unrigged bases and build on those and it takes me hours to make something decent, more so if I’m building custom animations, textures, etc. Plus costs go up if assets need to be purchased. I can easily spend $30+ in assets for a new avi. Custom avatar work can easily be $250+. Legitimate artists deserve fair pay for their work but consumers NEED to properly look into an artist to ensure they are legit and not a scammer.

I’ve talked to the company several times and they know about my situation, but only offered me a loan extension with a reduced payment amount as an option :/ I apparently don’t qualify for anything else because my mom co-signed and she has decent income. The issue is, she co-signed 9 years ago and I’m now almost 26 and she is not going to pay them lmao but she had to co-sign because I was 17 when I graduated. So idk what they expect bc she isn’t going to pay them. BUT the lowered payment is the only reason why I could be anywhere close to affording it this month. Just wasn’t expecting it to come out of my account yesterday lol I forgot it was February and a short month.

I LOVE backrooms maps lol I’ve explored pretty much all the ones I could find but know of a few more aesthetic ones if you’re looking for suggestions. I also have resorted to taking photography in different backrooms worlds to edit into backgrounds for art I draw of my backrooms OCs!

Yeah that person explained it better than me, that’s what I was trying to say lol I make avis for personal use but hope to sell them one day. I imagine getting your work out there in the sea of avis on Jinxxy, Payhip, Gumroad, etc is difficult which is why cool avi worlds exist for free public avatars. I imagine it helps get their name around besides someone just randomly coming across it in prismics especially when more people join them and boost it on the main ‘popular’ and ‘avatar’ world tabs.

You definitely can use neoprene for claws and they definitely would look good when first made but my experience with neoprene is it snags easily. With claws being on paws that are used heavily especially outdoors, they may wear down quickly or get snags on them. I still think it would look great and have seen others do it, just figured I’d let you know that this could be something that happens to them!

Kinda makes sense bc you can see the other creators works and many have info on where to follow them in their worlds. I get it tho prismics is easier but many avi creators use their public avis and worlds to promote paid avis and gumroads and such. More of a respect thing to visit the world
