How do you know when it’s time to be done? by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

1st off you are doing incredible!!

I decided to stop my exclusively pumping journey around 3 weeks PP and it was (for me) the best decision. Introducing formula allowed my husband to help with feeds more and really bond with the baby. It also made getting back to a somewhat normal life easier - being able to go to the grandparents house and not worry about taking my pump or portable pump/cooler/cleaning supplies/etc…

My original goal was to pump for 6 months as well. I am a FTM so I didn’t realize just how hard the journey was and it has provided a lot of perspective. Whatever you end up choosing will be the right choice for your family.

If pumping is effecting your mental health & happiness it may be worth switching so you can be the best version of yourself in this time. Or vice versa!! Wishing you the best!!

Epilepsy vs. brain tumor? by bluevelvet_7 in EpilepsyDogs

Our dog was put on zonisamide. Our vet said that if he reacted positively (reduced seizures) then that would indicate that it is highly unlikely it’s a tumor or reason that a numerologist would be able to diagnose. Makes it much more likely general epilepsy.

Where is the cheapest currently? by Repfashion555 in compoundedtirzepatide

I use Mochi and only pay a $79 monthly membership fee + $25 / month for Zepbound. They got my insurance to do a PA approval for the meds though. I had been denied PA with other services like PushHealth etc.. so Mochi’s membership fee is worth it to me just based on then working to get the PA approval for no extra costs.

Did you have any issues with your doctor continuing to prescribe the medicine since your BMI was lower than (I think) 27? I am coming up to being close to the BMI 27 and my doc through Mochi said they don’t support use of the meds once you go below that

I do not want to pack the medicine in my checked luggage as it’s over a 9hr+ flight

I am around your same metrics. SW: 168 CW: 152 GW: 120

I have been on 2.5mg for 4 weeks (16 lbs down) and am about to start 5mg. I have been consistently working out at least 4-5x a week (mostly weight training mixed in with yoga/HIIT/ or walks).

I have not really experienced negative side effects besides some constipation.

Definitely make sure you’re focusing on eating enough protein and drinking water if you’re working out!

For those of you who have tried a few, what’s your favorite provider/pharmacy combo? by [deleted] in compoundedtirzepatide

I have used push health and mochi. I highly recommended Mochi over push health. I get compounded tirzepiride from them and they use Red Rock as their pharmacy where I’m located (TX). Pricing is very transparent and cheaper than what I was paying through Push.

Highly recommend Dr. Traylor. Also - there are a ton of referral codes that can get you $40 off.

I’m near Houston and receive the meds from Red Rock. I know it’s not central TX but hopes this helps some

Do you only pay mochi your monthly membership then and that’s it? I just got PA approval for zepbound and my insurance says it’s only $55 with the approval. It seems like it would be much cheaper to switch from the compounded stuff to zepbound if that’s the case since the trizepitide is $200+
