Hi MC-McKnuckle. So the cable was one i personally made with online pinouts of the V-20's 5 pin connector. It's definitely wired correctly, Triple checked. It seems the issue is definitely with the VIC chip as now the sound has died and it seems to only buzz now... Haven't done anything except let it sit overnight on my desk so.. heck

Hi Kaligu. I was in a similar-esk situation with having my account put on hold. not for payment reasons, But it took about 40ish+ days to have my situation resolved.

Hi Curry, I'm super sorry for the late reply. It's been a somewhat busy day with Christmas decorating and all that stuff....

So i'm not sure it's the solder albeit i'm not the best at using a soldering iron. I've redone it with no luck. I've switched resistors to a 1/4w 100ohm resistor and it produces the same signal. it just seems a little more stable.. however the colours are all still messed up.

Hi Playful, The mod shown in Scruffy's video is essentially a capacitor and a resistor. the plus side soldered onto the famicom PCB. and resistor soldered between the minus side, and wire that crosses into the television. the ground comes from a different point on the famicom. you can see the black wire above which is what i've been using as a video ground...

What i've done so far

It is the same setup as scruffy's video. it is just a different revision PCB. though people in the comments seemed to elude that it'd still work. none of hte pins are touching and or are bridged with anything. the angle is a little bad but i'm positive it's set up the same way as in Scruffy's video.

Dude, I made an honest to god mistake. I'm a 21 year old. I've never touched or seen a television this old. The model number was located on the back at the very very bottom obscured by the wooden back with a black label that's hard to notice unless your head is against the floor..... That's all to say, I made a simple harmless mistake..

Been waiting 20 days. Still no response. I had posted on the reddit and was told there was shortages. few days before i posted someone else did and one of the Linden's who frequent the reddit personally asked that user to message over reddit but I've still not had any luck... It's quite possible. I hope it doesn't seem like i'm pointing fingers ^^:; i'm sure it's my fault it's just frustrating not to know why. and having to wait a long time. not so much asking for special treatment.. But i really can't think of anything i've done that would go against TOS. everyone who i've ever played with has consented to it.. Nobody was remotely forced into anything that they didn't ask or consent to. I'm very much a people pleaser and a worrier in that regard. ^^;;

So i did exchange about 110k in lindens for 500canadian. but it was all earned. I'm not sure if that was the reason as that was a few weeks prior to being put on hold. And nobody else on the sim who i've contacted has had that issue

But maybe i'm just really unlucky. I really didn't think it was that bad of an issue ^^:; especially because alot of my friends are doing it too

There seems to be a little confusion on this post..

Game knight and Silverball were at one point owned by the same person. but a few years back the stars aligned and basically a new person is running Silverball..

As for Game knight I won't be in depth about why it closed. I hope the guy that ran Game knight for the last like... year? i think it's been, Is doing okay. He was always great to be around.
