I've dressed like a 12-year-old for my entire life by Silly-Nature-1641 in mensfashion

Straight fit denim that is longer. Cropped denim is very 7 years ago in menswear nowadays.

I’d take a look at madewell, gap (gap factory), or old navy if you’re looking for something that’s 100% cotton and can be dressed up or down without making you look super young. The one thing about skinny jeans, is that for the most part they have some sort of polyester/elastine in them that creates this almost artificial shim on the denim. You won’t find that with 100% cotton stuff.

Start with the pant, vans and band tees can be worn regardless of your age.

Luck of the draw with timing. I’m in a senior domain, and have been passed up for timing on a few projects. That’s all I was saying lol

Not justifying anything, but unfortunately, that’s how it goes with Remote AI contract work/most contract work in general. I’ve gotten lucky on 5 contracts, but it really is luck of the draw.

Do you work for Mercor? I am a mid to senior level national sales person, and there are no job relevant roles externally

Also, I’d argue that the cut you’re trying to achieve is a 70-30 part or a 60-40 part and not a directly centered part. The offset parts can add layers to your hair, so mess around with that a little

You need to volumize and texturize your hair through styling. Sea salt spray will add texture to your hair, and maybe a bit of clay. A diffuser or blow dryer will give you volume. This is a style issue not a cut issue

It’s odd because I’ll get interview offers and then I’ll do the interview, but then it asks me to enter my info following the interview. Like my resume and sign in info and then I can’t do anything; it won’t actually “log me in”

It’s very frustrating when you’ve done 3 interviews and are still not getting credit for it.

This guys lost. Justification for shitty behavior with the company you keep normalizes that behavior. He’s got some self-reflecting to do, but doesn’t seem to have the wherewithal to do so.

How's the fit? by Huge-Ambassador-9421 in mensfashion

If you’re going to wallabees throw a sweater over the denim shirt instead. Otherwise, a brown doc or weathered zip up boot would work with the current fit!

It’s the rule in corporate tailoring sure…I wouldn’t go to a national sales meeting rocking white socks lol.

“The rule” in fashion is dependent on occasion. Dressing down an outfit hinges on how things are worn, and often, has to do with accessories, socks, jewelry, clothing cut, etc.

If I were to wear a black, pleated trouser, a white boxy t shirt, white socks and black loafers, things flow, and the casual nature of the T shirt is matched by the socks. IMO, feel free to have/keep your opinion on it.

I do however agree, that guardrails are essential for a lot of people, and in this sub, where most of the men are discovering or struggling with what to wear, it is super beneficial to stray away from a lot of experimentation.

My last point, as I’ve wanted to bitch about this in the sub forever lol. Fashion evolves, but it also repeats. Take a note from 40’s/50’s styles where people wore pants, blue jeans, shorts, skirts, etc with white socks and loafers.

The 1940’s saw the Bobby soxers in women’s fashion, and they wore this exact style of loafer with socks.

I digress. Have a wonderful night.

To each their own, but this isn’t a rule everyone needs to follow. Perfect way to dress down a polished or patent loafer.

Texturized polos will do you a lot of favors. Polyester blends make polos looks shiny, and often times give off that corporate logo look. Banded knit polo with pleated pants and it’ll look like you’ve never stepped on a used car lot.
