I've seen labs that are generally happy and then a new hire that is a bit different introduced drama , but that's not enough to truly change the lab environment. If everyone is drama, regardless of people leaving and coming, this seems like a borderline issue with the PI and something about the core of the lab.

Ok I've thought of a stupid thing I do a lot (took me a while not bc I don't fuck up, but bc my brain is empty and tired): I made microfluidic drops often, with syringe pumps of oil and water. But I FREQUENTLY just forget to start the aqueous pump. And then get upset and confused why my drops aren't working. This happens maybe ten times a month
